Traveling Mage Retex PBR & ENB/Vanilla [LM]
I wanted something special for my Dark Elf Morn, who is a mage and I stream her playthrough at the moment on my twitch. I love everything from Fuse and making retextures for her amazing work is always a joy. I wanted to honor the original but make it my own. I thought people might appreciate me sharing.
Screenshots are made and mod is tested in Jiaye AIO (AIO-2026-05-28T17-09Z) and Rudy ENB for NAT3.
Info:
textures are 4k
Vanilla/ENB support
CS PBR support
CS Hair Specular Support
separated the hair parts on the Boots and Gloves for CS Hair Spec support, added vertex color so they don't tint
added cube mapping to the Cape
edited the hair shader values
Installation:
install my mod, overwrite any conflict
run PGPatcher for PBR and Hair Spec flow maps, if you are on CS
!!!IMPORTANT!!! This is made to be working with Fuse's original mod. Those are the meshes I used and adapted. This is what I use. I don't use any body slides. It is incompatible with any conversion that doesn't provide patches for this retexture.
Enjoy!

My god, I love all your work but your clothing retextures are really something else. I love your design choices - the eccentric yet cohesive patterns and colors, the balance between delicate details and practical materials, the immersive signs of wear and tear. SO beautiful and full of personality and life. Thank you for giving one of my already all-time favorite armor mods such a stunning glow up, I think this will be the go-to outfit for my Breton mage for the foreseeable future xD
I love comments like this so very much, the effort invested into showing appreciation. Thank you!
I love how you make your retextures both unique and worn, which makes them look believable on a traveler. The textures look somewhat glossy with NAT III ENB (I use Performance versions), but this ENB makes some things more glossy in general, so it's solely about the ENB, I guess.
The cloth is as well having metallic applied. Which translates better in PBR but not as good in ENB, sadly. And yes, Rudy and many others have pretty high values of spec. And therefore I didn’t tone down my texture instead hope people adjust their ENBs. Because if I make it lower and people adjust it for them, my texture will be too low. It’s something I dislike a lot about ENB set ups tbh. They do adhere to vanilla textures. Though those are often not as good either. Thats why so many spec patches exist. And I am thankful that CS’ PBR follows industry standard, so I don’t have the issue there. I do not optimize my ENB textures anymore for hours and hours, sorry. I can’t do that. I wouldn’t even need to make ENB support in the first place. I don’t use it anymore. People need to adjust their ENB set ups, instead. Which is something people anyway would need to do. Because skin has far too high spec values, too, in the majority of ENB presets. But many people neglect that they actually can adjust their ENBs to their own liking. I could as well have given the original meshes different spec values, using a grey color, what many people do nowadays. But that would have meant locking my textures again to the original ones and not making them compatible to whatever people use. All in all, I do not want to deal anymore with those texture, mesh and render issues. It’s why I use CS and PBR in the first place. Edit: And toning down the spec maps is a sad thing anyway. That we do since eons now, because vanilla and ENBs are far too high, which means though we lose out on a massive amount of details. Because it needs to be so insanely dark. Ask any mod author who made a skin how sad it is to lose all the details in almost black spec maps.
I really like this mage outfit, but I've always thought the texture was a little too smooth, even though it's pretty. Great realistic retexture, can't wait to see it in my game! Sooner or later... I still haven't been able to pick up my new pc.
i love the ...embroidery? you put on your clothing retextures so much! they make the outfits seem both more personal and more real. 🤩
Thank you! It's a material with beautiful beading. I saw it and felt like that's what Fuse wanted to convey with her golden overlay. Some elegant parts in a mage attire, yet worn out from traveling and enemy encounters. And very appreciated, I always try to give everything a soul and some story.
Absolutely gorgeous dear lord
x'D Thank you!
