Argonian - Advanced Skin CBBE & SOSlite [Flawn] [LM]
Info:
uses Lordflawn's uncompressed textures as base (May you always walk on warm sand, Lord!)
edited the skin in Substance Painter
baked the feet textures to SOSlite (aged me 10 years to sculpt those toes)
4k face / 8K body - BC7 & BC1 compression (less artifacts, no compression discoloration)
SOSlite Argonian handmesh fix (fixes missing claws on right hand)
full CS Jiaye's AIO Advanced Skin Support (rfaos and subsurface maps)
is compatible with ENB and CS without Advanced Skin (but won't look like the screens)
Argonian scars retexture with rfaos maps
fitting old age overlays for both
blankdetailmap without compression discoloration
hair retexture with rfaos map
no ESP just textures and the hand meshes (made my textures identical in texture sets to CBBE based mods and SOSlite)
I wanted less blurry Argonians so going under 4k/8k wasn't an option for me. Neither was using anything than BC7. If you want less file size you need to do that for yourself.
This mod adds _rfaos maps, which increase file size, too.
As far as I know the hand mesh fix should work as well for SOSfull, but delete the textures, they aren't compatible. I checked SOSfull and it has the same missing claws, just as info.
Installation:
To utilize all the maps I included you need Community Shaders Jiaye's AIO (Is hosted on CS Discord)
requires SOSlite (is on Loverslab - adult link)
requires any mod that conforms to CBBE - e.g. CBBE, 3BA, Touched By Dibella
my mod needs to overwrite and load after conflicts
Advanced Skin finds the maps by itself and utilizes them
recommended Advanced Skin SSS settings are 30/30
if you use ENB or Nexus CS install Patch Addon, let it overwrite the main mod
ENB and Nexus CS users can reduce file size by removing files with syntax _rfaos and _sk from THE MAIN MOD. Do not delete any files from the Patch Addon!!!!
Ofc incompatible with any other Argonian retexture - pls uninstall any other Argonian retextures to ensure my mod works as intended

TNG not support?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm kinda new to modding this heavily. Would TNG work in place of SOSLite or is SOSLite completely irreplaceable? Thank you for your time and work.
No dumb question! As far as I can remember, because I don’t use TNG, but have looked into it one time a long time ago, it’s based on SOSfull. So sadly it should be incompatible. It means the penis texture is on a seperate texture. Whilst on SOSlite the penis is just a tiny addon on the body texture and the feet are an extra texture and have a different UV. Whilst the penis you can get away if you don’t use nudity, the feet are probably the bigger issue. It would be probably best to ask TNG if there’s compatibility between SoSlite and TNG. They know their mod and maybe available patches better than me. I never needed working genitals, I don’t use sex mods, and didn’t wanted it too complicated, so SOSLite was always enough for me. I never felt the need to change in all those years.

I was very upset that I overlooked the Argonian scars in my scars retex. But they aren't in the scar folder, they are in the folder for Argonian women. It's so weird. ;_; I am so very glad that I could finally add them and on top provide Advanced Skin for those who benefit most of them - the Argonians. Because those scales can finally truly shine. I am so happy I can do this for the Beasts, especially the Argonians. Massive credit though for Lordflawn, couldn't have done it without his wonderful base.
