UBE PBR Outer Eye and Wetness [LM]

I worked for a very long time on this.

Trying to find solutions, editing meshes in Blender to fix issues that caused the PBR to break. Tweaking the textures and meshes to make them work, as best as possible, in all kind of conditions, like weathers, inside, outside, underwater and lighting.

This is a very important project to me, so I feel very reluctant to share this due to all the negative experiences with the modding community. I hope people appreciate that I share this nevertheless.

I had to revert back to a grey, simple diffuse because my default diffuse isn't compatible with PBR. Which forces me to overwork my eye mods as well atm. Took me as well a long time to find the perfect grey that fits all conditions.

  • will work with every inner eye, be it dark or bright colored

  • outer eye and wetness mesh in PBR

  • changes the wetness mesh to a transparent tearline

  • inner eye stays non PBR to avoid massive conflicts (PBR standalone eye mods are in the making)

  • pre-patched meshes

  • UBE NPC's eyes need manual patching to the PBR pipeline if you want them to use my PBR textures

  • no conflict with non PBR eye UBE NPCs

  • comes in 3 different versions for the outer eye

    • MAIN - default, veiny texture

    • ALT - alternative texture that isn't veiny but more structured

    • ILV - the original texture from Vobla that is part of UBE

  • one version for the wetness mesh in MAIN

  • ESP is light

Installation:

  • Ofc you need Community Shaders for this in some form (be it Nexus or an AIO).

  • Install UBE.

  • Install MAIN mod.

  • Install optional files (ALT, ILV) and overwrite MAIN mod.

  • My mod needs to overwrite and load after UBE files and plugin.

  • try out which one you like most, or jump between the optional ones

Ofc incompatible with any other mod containing the outer eye and wetness mesh. Overwrite any conflicts with my mod.

Info for people who make NPC mods:

Disable this for Facegen export, or else it will export with the PBR meshes/texture paths. Not my fault, just how the game and Facegen export works.
