News on Release 0.8

Hi everyone,

it's finally time to move beyond Rocky Hills. Thamiris, the city of academies, awaits us!

As announced last month, starting with this version you'll be able to travel to a new region. The mayor will give you a license that will allow you to purchase the equipment needed to set up a proper camp. You'll be able to buy tents, sleeping bags, horses, and various upgrades to improve your staff's bonuses. So remember to stop by the market, buy everything you need from the new shop, and, most importantly, remember to assign it to the members of your staff.

Once you have everything you need, you'll be ready to travel to Thamiris. This first journey will also unlock the map, which you'll be able to use to travel whenever you want between all the regions you've unlocked so far. So, if you miss some of the characters from Rocky Hills, you'll be able to go back and visit them at any time.

Mistral is a different story: for now, your hometown will be inaccessible because you're wanted there. But this isn't a permanent goodbye: you'll return there later in the game... and, without giving away too many spoilers, I can tell you that when that happens, you'll find it very different.

Now let's talk about Thamiris. I honestly don't remember whether I've already talked about it in these news posts or only in the sneak peek posts, but I'll give you a quick recap of what awaits you in this region over the next few versions.

Thamiris is home to the best academies in all of Ender dedicated to combat, martial arts, and magic. All young fighters who want to reach their full potential come here to perfect their training.

This also makes Thamiris a city populated by many different species, races, and cultures. So expect to meet a much wider variety of people than you've encountered so far.

The main purpose of your time in this region will be to recruit new fighters for your team. And there's no better place than Thamiris for that.

Many interesting new characters await you, including a new companion and new members for your camp. But above all, there are plenty of interesting quests waiting for you. In my personal opinion, Thamiris is the region with the greatest number of interesting quests.

Just to give you a few previews, you'll have the chance to enter three different tournaments: the Tournament of Valor, the Tournament of Skill, and the Arcane Tournament. Each of them will feature a series of exciting, deadly challenges to complete over the course of several days before a champion is crowned among you and the other contenders.

There will be several missions where you'll put your potential new teammates to the test to decide who is most worthy of joining you.

And there will be a crucial mission with Minlar inside the Academy of Magic. Following the advice of your eccentric wizard friend, you'll sneak into the oldest and most mysterious of the academies in search of ancient and arcane secrets that may help you in your mission concerning the Delev, and perhaps even help you learn more about your mysterious origins.

All this and much more awaits you over the course of the next few versions.

In this first version, however, we'll have a lighter introduction, giving you time to familiarize yourselves with the new region and the new features that have been introduced. This month, you'll have a series of introductory events related to Thamiris, new characters, and all the side quests of the new region.

Thamiris is surrounded by a wild forest populated by ferocious beasts, so the dangers will be considerably greater than those you encountered in Mistral and Rocky Hills. During the hunting side quests, you'll encounter some of the forest's new beasts. During escort missions, you'll face new dangers related not only to people and animals, but often to environmental hazards as well. You'll also be able to work as a squire.

Of course, there will be no shortage of sex scenes. During the escort side quests, you'll have the chance to encounter new sexual opportunities with a female adventurer, as well as with bandits and merchants. So don't skip them just because they're side quests, and keep doing them, because some events evolve each time, unlocking new scenes.

Working as a squire will also give you the chance to unlock new sex scenes. You'll be the squire of two knights, Knight Siegfried and Knight Brienne: two knights with very different personalities, with whom you'll be able to decide whether to maintain a purely professional relationship or go beyond your usual duties as a squire.

In addition to this, I've also unlocked the Lust World for the Rocky Hills and Thamiris regions. Until now, you could only see scenes set in Mistral, but you'll now have access to all the sex scenes in the game from every region as you unlock them. Every month, I'll update the Lust World with the new sex scenes released.

I've made several fixes to balancing, items, and other things. Just to give you one example, I've reduced the cost of bombs from 50 to 15, so that using them won't often end up costing more than the quest reward itself. As always, if you have any suggestions or feedback, don't hesitate to share them. Creating this entire world on my own is very difficult, so any advice or help is more than welcome.

There are other things I should tell you, but this post is getting really long, so I'll stop here and let you discover the rest by playing.
