Whenever Grisha sees Zeke, Eren is always is always right behind him because he’s literally seeing the memory through Erens eyes

Basically when Grisha hugged Zeke he could only see him because he was looking through erens eyes “into the future”.

1. How Eren and Zeke can see the past: Zeke is guiding Eren through Grisha's memories, so they're not physically traveling into the past. However, the Attack Titan has a special ability: its inheritors can receive memories from future inheritors. That's how Grisha could see Zeke because he can see through Eren's eyes in the present time. 2. How Eren manipulated his dad: When Grisha went to steal the Founding Titan from the Reiss family, he didn't want to kill them, especially the children. But Eren, communicating through memories from the future, pushed Grisha to do it. Grisha eventually killed most of the family and took the Founding Titan. This means Eren influenced the past using memories from the future, creating a causal loop: the events that led to Eren's existence and power was all influenced by Eren. He didn't just change the past; he created the future and everything that happened from here on out. 3. What this means for Eren: When Eren kissed Historia's hand at the end of Season 3, he saw memories that revealed glimpses of the future. Now we understand that he's not just a victim of his father's choices—he manipulated his own father into committing a massacre to obtain the Founding Titan. Grisha is so disturbed by what he sees in Eren's future that he begs Zeke to stop him. This is where you could say Eren starts to look like the villain of the story, and we still don't know exactly what he plans to do. Back Door of the Back Door of the Back Door

At this point watch the intros, you understand the show better than I did on my first watch and you don’t even watch anime. Maybe after two more eps you watch the intros. Also the future thing (not a spoiler I promise) was hinted at last season, it just came full circle and actually got confirmed. And that’s sumn you didn’t miss I remember you harping on that point.

It's his first time watching and he also doesn't have the same luxury the rest of us had when this season was showing. We all had a week between each episode to actually process what just happened.

I think grisha is just another victim to the cycle. He was just a kid who wanted to show his sister an airship, and she got murdered for it. I have mixed feelings on him

To follow up on my last comment (also not spoiler this is what you’re suppose to get from these episodes) to explain how Grisha is seeing Eren and the whole seeing the future thing, if you look back at the beginning of this episode, right before Grisha says Zekes name you can see Eren look down at the picture of him. Eren then looks up at Zeke and Grisha responds “Zeke is that you?” This is because the attack on titan can see memories of past or future . So at this moment Grisha is looking at hisself through Erens eyes. He sees the memory of them being there. You can also see Grisha constantly look up at Eren while he’s talking to younger Eren . He knows Eren there because he’s seeing the memory of him being there.Same gos for the part where Grisha is about to kill the Reiss family. Eren didn’t change the pass by forcing Grisha to kill the Reiss family, In reality, Grisha killed the Reiss family because of Eren! Grisha also begs and ask why won’t Eren show him everything (memories of the future) which means Eren has been in control of which memories Grisha was allowed to see this whole time in order for things to go his way. He is the mastermind behind everything! Eren is the real villain of his own story 🤯😭

Part of me hopes that he would read these but I genuinely want him to just experience ts raw but I do vouch for this summary. I think he does understand some of it but putting it in a paragraph like this makes it way clearer to digest. I do want to clarify about the Attack Titan's powers though. One sentiment I have that I'm gonna get out of the way now is that it's really cool how after all this time we've seen all the unique titans have unique abilities of their own (Female Titan can call other titans nearby, Armored Titan has hardening all over his body, Cart Titan's Endurance, and so on) but we never really see something from the Attack Titan. We always only just seen this titan fight and shit but it's nothing that other titans can't do. This episode reveals to us actually how OP the Attack Titan is. The power is the shifter being able to send his memories into the past shifters. It isn't the past shifter being able to see the future absolutely but rather the future shifter sending memories to the past shifter (Might take a little to digest). Basically, Eren only chose to send fragments of his memories to Grisha to manipulate him. Just wanted to clarify this because the characters did say "The Attack Titan can see into the future?" which is technically true but the way it works is a little more than that.

This is not spoiler this is what you’re suppose to get from these episodes and I’m about to blow your mind. If you remember back near the end of s3 they hinted at the attack titan being able to see in the future. Before Eren Kuger gave grisha the attack titan he gave him the same talk Eren Yeager did. The whole (This story started because of you) talk. He then tells him that he has to see it through to save Armin and Mikasa. Now this clearly doesn’t make sense because this was before Armin, Eren, and Mikasa were even born. Grisha then ask who Armin and Mikasa were and Eren krguger responds, “I don’t know they arent from my memories”. Hinting that he were getting Eren’s memories before he was even born. So from the future 🤯
