Jared and Mike dig into the wave of school blockades, Yellow Vest revival protests, and brutal police crackdowns sweeping France (and now spreading to Belgium, Italy, Greece, and beyond), and how MAGA influencers are already repurposing the footage, stripped of context and sometimes outright faked by AI, into an implausible story about scary leftists and immigrant chaos coming for the West next.
Also in this episode: the DOJ digs through 50 years of Ilhan Omar’s life looking for a deportation pretext while the FBI rushes noncitizen voter-fraud cases ahead of Election Day. Trump and Vance roll out a $25 million snitch fund and dangle pardons for patriotic brain genius Nick Shirley. A brutal attack ad against Ohio’s Amy Acton drags her childhood sexual abuse into the governor’s race, and right-wing influencers immediately accuse her of lying about it.

Wait, so all of us in the Patreon get to go into business with one or both of the hosts? Fuck yeah. I’m ready to create a bespoke collection of native nursery plants. The problem is that I only grow native WA ecotypes, and some of them I am pretty hesitant to sell outside of their native range due to invasive species risk. Also I am very bad at returning emails and the department of revenue isn’t very happy with me. I feel like this enterprise just can’t go wrong. It’s basically money in the bank already.
