What have I done? (Some video content?)
Hey folks,
I've decided that I'm going to experiment with making short-form videos over the next few weeks, after telling my friends for years that I would "rather die" than post on TikTok. I'm not sure if this will be a regular thing for us going forward, but if you'd like to follow our new social media accounts and heckle me in the comments as I learn how to do this stuff in realtime, you can find us here:

Are y'all on Facebook? I'm Gen X, so inevitably that's where most of my contacts reside. I got rid of TikTok & Insta, but I'll give you a follow on YouTube, although the algo purposely tends to deincentivize left-leaning pods; often people who've subscribed find that YouTube randomly unsubscribes them &/or turns off their Notifications even if a subscriber specifically clicks the Notifications bell, prob because it's predominantly right-wing owned. Same with TikTok. Insta/META currently ass-kisses Orange Ozymandias, but I suspect that once a Dem is back in the Oval, Zuck's "loyalty" will shift back, and he'll be gung-ho about things like DEI again. It's all about getting perks from whichever admin controls the government.
We aren't but it probably couldn't hurt to set up a home base there, even if we don't plan to use it much.
Honestly, I think it was fine. I understand if you are commenting on primarily visual content that there need to be a visual component. I don't need a video element in my podcasts because I use them to help me draw... however I did look up what Dinesh D'Souza looked like for a laugh during 2000 mules.
This won’t replace the show. I’m mostly curious to see if this might expose people to the show who would otherwise never hear of us. Maybe it’ll work, maybe it won’t! -J
