IDSG Bonus 37: Dick (1999)
Jack and I joked about doing this one in the last bonus episode, but at least one long-time patron requested of both Jack and myself that we go ahead and do an episode on it.
So we did.
It turns out that we both quite like the film, especially the performances from both the two leads and some of the supporting case, notably Dan Hedaya as the titular Dick, and Dave Foley as Haldeman.
Long live the radical muckraking bastards!

If you or Jack want some more strange Nixon content I recommend the book Crooked by Austin Grossman, which mixes up the Nixon presidency with Lovcraftian horror. A lot of his presidency makes a lot more sense if he is dealing with cosmic horror beyond our comprehension.
