September 2024- Important Update
Hello, everyone!
I hope you're all doing well! It's been a while since I've given an update on how things are going regarding my projects.
Mage & Demon Queen
I spent the first half of the year studying to improve my writing skills while going through the mentally anguishing journey of looking for an agent to help me physically publish Mage & Demon Queen.
I finally got an agent last July, though communications with WEBTOON have been really slow, and we're only about to have a video conference with them this month. Unfortunately, my contract differs from that of other WEBTOON creators, so it might take me longer to publish. It may take up to 2 to 3 more years for M&DQ’s physical copy, and I’m thankful to you all for being so patient with me!
On the other hand, the good news is that Mage & Demon Queen will be available for AD PASS starting September 13th! Readers can binge-read by watching ads to unlock all the episodes!
Pooka plushies are also out and will only be available till next week in MAKESHIP! We need to reach 100% sales to fund the campaign fully!
My Current Project
The story's genre is new to me, but it's something I've always wanted to write ever since I was a kid! Sorry for keeping it a secret for now, but I want to have enough set materials before I release some sneak peeks. I plan to finish writing this month and start making the comic next month.
Hint: It's a genre that makes some people bored, so I'm balancing it with everything I learned from Mage & Demon Queen.
Patreon
Due to many requests, I'll open my Patreon again this month. There won't be new posts or rewards till I have my comic ready, but at least the old posts can be accessed. Feel free to switch to a lower subscription tier ($1) if you still wish to support me while I create!
Alternatively, if you want to stay updated, you can subscribe instead to my newly made NEWSLETTER! Yey! (The subscription bar is at the bottom/ footer of the website)
I encourage everyone to sign up so you won’t miss out on news and posts since social media platforms can be unpredictable.
Thank you, and be well! You'll hear from me again soon!
See ya!

Will the published version be NSFW with all the original things webtoons made you censer?
Greetings Les, it's Fred N. Good to hear from you finally. Err, where do I subscribe to your newsletter? I don't seem to see the link you mentioned.
Hey Fred! Nice to see you again. Newsletter is at the bottom of my website where it asks for your email~ https://www.color-les.com/
It's truly wonderful to see an update from you Kuru! I was just reminiscing about Mage & Demon Queen and wondering what became of you! Thank you, and I look forward to whatever you do next!
Hey, thanks for opening your patreon again. I found your M&DQ comic and it's great. I have reaid it all in a week and i wanted to give you some money for it. I will track down your other works now.
Thank you for opening up to new Patreons! This is the primary platform for me to get updates from people whose work I love, so I was bummed out when I tried to join up this weekend. I'm so excited to get a pooka.
Loved Mage and Demon Queen, will be a easy day one buy whenever the physical is released! ill gladly wait
Thanks so much for the update can't wait to see your next work
I am excited to see what now amazing thing you will create 😁. Also as soon as physical copies are made I will buy them as soon as possible
I’m brand new to the Patreon but a long time fan. I’m thrilled to see an update on a M&DQ physical copy, and I’ll wait as long as necessary. Thank you for the update and for all the work! I’m very much looking forward to seeing your new story.
I can't imagine you ever writing something that's boring, honestly!
Wait, what do you mean ,,bored"? GL story that gets people ,,bored"? Never heard...
Will there be a difference between the published version and the webtoon version?
Great to hear from you! Best of luck with publishing and with the new project.
Good luck with everything that goes into making a physical copy of mage and demon queen! Looking forward to your next series! One thing, the patreon isn't accepting "new" patrons making it impossible to change tiers.
It will be open again starting September 4. Just wanted to give a heads up first
If it's ok for you to discuss it, what makes your contract with Webtoon different from that of other WEBTOON creators?
Have to take a certain step before shopping the book to third parties under a time limit
