Hey, y'all! So in this episode we did something a little bit different. We had our friend, Tandy, who is a professional tarot card reader come on. She did not know the story of the princes in the tower previously and we wanted to see if she could help us solve the long standing historical mystery!

This is my favorite thing ever!! Elizabeth Woodville is my great grandmother 8 times back on multiple branches. Adding tarot in with this mystery was perfect.
I loved it! It would be so cool for her to come back for like Anne Boleyn and little boots
Obsessed with this!! Would love if she came back to try and connect with other subjects of the pod (esp Anne Boleyn or Marie Antoinette!!)
Omg please have her cover hella history mysteries (man in the iron mask, Jack the Ripper, where is Alexander the Great buried, Roanoke, we need answers!?!?!). I love when you guys cover mysteries in any way shape or form because you actually go through every possibility instead of just the popular ones
I've got questions, too! 1) Did Elizabeth of York have feelings for Richard III, or was that a historical invention? 2) Did Richard III and Anne Neville have a happy marriage? 3) Did Anne Boleyn really scheme to become queen, or was Henry the real instigator of their relationship? 4) Did Henry believe Anne was guilty of adultery, or did he just want the marriage over? 4) Were Anne Boleyn and Catherine of Aragon friends prior to Henry's romantic interest in Anne? (I'm sure I'll have more; this is just off the top of my head.)
OK, this is SUCH a great idea! History and magic all mixed together! There are so many mysteries in the Tudor period alone, not to mention everything else. (There's more questions about The Princes in the Tower, Amy Dudley's death, plus I'd give anything to hear from Anne Boleyn and Katharine Howard - and where their bodies actually are in the chapel of St. Peter ad Vincula. Then there's The Green Children of Woolpit, The Lost Colony of Roanoke, The Dancing Plagues, The Salem Witch Trials, and so much more.) Personally, I think a great format would be to tell Tandy as little as possible at the start, and Katy and Nathan talk as little as possible while she's working and talking. Then, at the end, Tandy and our beloved hosts could chat about everything. Tandy, please come back! 🦄🔮🪄✨
There are several things here that are historically impossible, but it was a lot of fun. That said, if it’s Elizabeth Woodville telling the story, maybe those historical inaccuracies are simply HER feelings? We often have emotions that aren’t based on logic or facts. Like, there’s zero possibility that Richard III killed Edward IV, but maybe in her grief Elizabeth blamed him for it? Just a thought. It was fun to think about!
Ooh, can she do Amy Robsart Dudley next? I’d love to hear what she has to say about that!
Oh my gosh, I am shooketh! When Tandy started getting emotional when channeling Elizabeth and how she felt about not being able to protect all her children? I started getting teary eyed! I am going to relisten right now, this episode was *chef's kiss*
LOVE this episode! I would love to have her back too. What an interesting theory about one of the boys falling out of a window through play.
This is WILD and sooo compelling
