WE CHOSE A WINNER! at random we chose Hannah. We'll message her now! xoxo so happy y'all liked this episode
I might be late but my favorite fact. NUTMEG!!!!. why did they think that would work .
Loved the recommendation for a nice podcast to listen to, also the idea of nutmeg as a remedy 🤮
I loved the discussion of those damn gabled hoods!
My heart always breaks for her. I hate that she’s been given this persona of a harlot when she was a teenage girl being thrust into a world ruled by men. I wish she had had a woman in her life who loved and wanted to help her she truly seemed to be alone in the world.
Tudor era women just needed a money clip to ward off sexual predators. STREET SMARTS!
STREET SMARTS! (thank you)
I still can’t get over the reusable condoms 😂
I can’t believe that honey was used as a contraceptive item-ooh, sticky! “Pour some honey on me” 🤣
omg hahah
Favorite fact : Tudor reusable condom, ugh just not “feeling it at all “ 🤣🤣
My fave fact I learned was that Queens Pod, the Exploress Pod and Nightbirds were all started around the same time!
The fact there were "reusable" condemns during the Tudor times made from sheep intestines. Also love the saying My Lady Palace!
The pamphlet saying to restore your virginity just shove up some nutmeg hahah. I also will never look at nutmeg the same!
Not necessarily a fact but I think the coffee table book should be called 'this fucking guy' I would proudly put that on my coffee table
My favorite fact of this episode is: nobody looks good with a birdcage on their head. It's is just so true and relatable.😅🤗
Nutmeg! I will never use it without thinking of the "magical" property it has for my lady palace 😆
also how good is lady palace as a phrase?
Have you guys ever noticed Elizabeth Woodville’s hood? To me it kind of looks like a see through beekeeping hat in the paintings and I can’t imagine what it would look like in real life haha
