Atmósfera v.1.8.6.a (Hotfix)
Small patch for Atmosphere 360 1.8.6 in Football Manager 27. It consists of two files, totalling 234 KB: it does not affect your chants, your videos, the commentary language or any of your settings.
What it fixes
1. Stuttering when entering the match. Several people reported this to me, and there were two different causes with the same symptom:
- The club chant used to load all at once, freezing the screen for one to four seconds when entering the pitch. That’s why it happened to some users but not others: it depends on the file assigned to your club. It now loads in the background.
- The formation chart and league table were retrieving data from the game in a very resource-intensive way.
If you were experiencing stuttering during the pre-match build-up, you should have noticed this.
2. Team names on the scoreboard. For some teams in smaller leagues or lower divisions, the names could appear incomplete.
3.The away supporters who took over the stadium. Several people pointed this out to me, and they were right. The mod alternates between the home and away chants, just like in a real match, but the chant kept playing right until the end of the file — and there are some long chants in the pack: half of them are over two and a half minutes long, thirteen are over ten minutes long, and the longest one lasts twenty minutes. If you were up against the away side with one of those, their supporters would take over the pitch for a quarter of an hour and, to top it all, wouldn’t let your own supporters in.
How to install
1. Close Football Manager 27.
2. Extract the file into the game folder, the one containing FM.exe:
Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 27
3. Windows will ask if you want to replace two files. Say yes.
If, when extracting the files, you aren’t asked to replace anything, you’ve put them in the wrong place: the patch’s BepInEx folder needs to be merged with the one you already have, not placed inside another folder.
