Indecent Desires – Hints System Reworked

Hey guys,

Another part of Indecent Desires that has received a major overhaul is the Hints System.

As the game has grown, with more characters, locations, schedules, items, and interconnected events, the old hint window simply wasn't doing enough anymore. It mostly presented the player with a list of text and left a lot of the interpretation up to them.

We wanted the new system to do more than just give you hints — it should actually help you understand what you can do, where you need to go, and when you can do it.

The new Hints interface is now much more structured and easier to follow.

Hints are organized by character, and you can quickly filter the list to see exactly who you want to progress with. There is also an Available Now filter, making it much easier to find something you can actually do at your current point in the game.

Each hint can now display important information such as:

• the character involved

• the required location

• the correct time of day

• the required day

• important items or story requirements

• whether the event is Available Now or becomes available Later

This means considerably less searching through locations or repeatedly advancing time just to figure out what the game expects you to do next.

The new system is also being designed with future updates in mind. As we continue expanding existing character paths and adding new interactions, the Hints System will give us a much better way to guide players through that content without turning the game into a walkthrough.

You'll still be free to explore, but when you need some direction, the information should now be right there.

Combined with the recently redesigned Navigation, Inventory, and Attributes systems, this is another step toward making Indecent Desires much cleaner and more comfortable to play.
