The Los Santos Police Vest Texture is now available as a FREE download!

This texture gives the tactical vest a clean Los Santos Police appearance with white front and rear identification patches. It’s designed for players looking for a simple, realistic patrol vest for GTA 5 / LSPDFR.

⚠️ IMPORTANT — REQUIRED VEST

THIS DOWNLOAD IS A TEXTURE ONLY.

The actual vest model is NOT included in this download.

You will need to download and install EUP VEST＆EARPIECE by HANAKO and use it's free:

VEST 7 — SETUP 2

Download EUP VEST＆EARPIECE from LCPDFR

The original vest pack adds the required vest models and equipment to GTA V.

Please install the required vest BEFORE installing my Los Santos Police texture.

📂 HOW TO INSTALL

STEP 1 — Install the Required Vest

Download EUP VEST＆EARPIECE from the link above.

Install Vest 7 / Setup 2 following the instructions included with the original mod.

The original creator also recommends backing up your files before making any changes.

STEP 2 — Open OpenIV

Turn on Edit Mode and navigate to:

GTA V └── mods └── update └── x64 └── dlcpacks └── eup └── dlc.rpf └── x64 └── eup_componentpeds.rpf └── mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_heist3

Or copy this path:

mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\eup\dlc.rpf\x64\eup_componentpeds.rpf\mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_heist3

This matches the location shown in the included installation screenshots.

STEP 3 — Find the Texture

Inside that folder, locate:

task_diff_001_a_uni.ytd

Open the .ytd file with the OpenIV Texture Editor.

STEP 4 — Replace the Texture

Inside the Texture Editor:

1. Select task_diff_001_a_uni

2. Click Replace

3. Select the Los Santos Police texture included with this download

4. Click Save

That's it! Load into GTA V and equip the corresponding Vest 7 / Setup 2 vest.

📸 INSTALLATION PHOTOS INCLUDED

I've included installation screenshots showing:

The exact OpenIV location → the correct .ytd file → the texture that needs to be replaced.

If you're unsure where the texture goes, follow the screenshots included with the download.
