Pushing ETS2 Visuals to the Limit – DLSS 5 Test on RTX 4070 Super 😎
I decided to push ETS2 a little further and see how far I could go with the visuals.
This setup combines Pure Light Weather + ReShade + Snowymoon V2 + DLSS 5, running on an RTX 4070 Super - and visually, I have to admit, the result is pretty impressive 😎
For now, I’d treat this more as an experiment than an actual gameplay setup. The FPS drop is significant enough to make the game practically unplayable, but there’s definitely some potential here. With further optimization, this kind of visual quality could become much more usable in the future.
Still, it’s always fun to see what ETS2 can look like when you throw everything at it 🙂
Have you already tested DLSS 5 with your own ETS2 setup? I’m curious what results you’re getting - especially when combining it with weather mods, ReShade or other graphics tweaks 😏

I also have a 4070 super how did you get dlss 5 to work I tried multiple times but it just doesn’t work for me lol
It doesn't make sense because I have 28FPS on this card. It's a waste of time
I am able to pull 30fps in 4k with 100% scaling with your same setup. I do feel like the current dlss5 dll we have is actually frame locked at 30, this is with a 5080 btw and a i9 14900kf Id be curious to see how it does when we get a official release
Are you using DLAA? if not switch it to that and your FPS will increase
