🚛 ETS2 on the Edge of Photorealism | Pure Light ReShade 3.0 + Pure Light Weather 🌤️

The goal of Pure Light is not to apply another aggressive filter, boost the saturation, and call it “realism” 🎨

This project is about something much more ambitious: natural exposure, realistic colors, deep shadows, believable lighting, and an atmosphere that genuinely makes you feel like you are sitting behind the wheel of a truck 🛣️

📸 One Visual Experience, Multiple Conditions

These screenshots show how smoothly the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2 changes depending on the time of day, weather conditions, and surrounding environment 🌦️

From strong sunlight breaking through the trees 🌳, through built-up areas 🏘️ and open countryside 🌾, all the way to an intense pink and purple sunset 🌅 — every scene has its own identity while remaining part of one consistent visual system.

The colors are vivid without becoming exaggerated. The vegetation looks natural 🌿, the asphalt retains its proper gray tone and surface texture, the sky avoids an artificial turquoise tint ☁️, and the warm sunset light contrasts beautifully with the cooler shadows.

As a result, the image does not look like a game with a filter placed over it. It feels like a real road viewed through the windshield of a truck 🚚

🚛 Realism from Inside the Cab

The interior of the cab plays an equally important role.

The cockpit is not artificially brightened just to keep every detail visible at all times. When the sunlight outside becomes intense ☀️, the cab naturally falls into shadow. As evening approaches 🌙, the dashboard, GPS, streetlights, and headlights of other vehicles become the most important light sources 💡

This realistic exposure behavior creates a much stronger sense of presence.

You are no longer simply looking at a flat screen. You feel as though you are sitting high above the road, watching the traffic through a huge windshield while the changing weather transforms the atmosphere of the entire journey 🎮➡️🚛

Pure Light Weather adds a large collection of new skyboxes and significantly improves the weather conditions in ETS2 ☁️🌧️🌅

The sky is no longer just a background placed above the map. It becomes one of the most important elements of the entire scene.

Detailed cloud formations, varied sunsets, soft afternoon lighting, and constantly changing horizon colors make even a familiar road feel different every time you drive it. 🛣️

One moment, the route can feel bright, calm, and full of greenery 🌿 A few hours later, the same world can become cooler, more dramatic, and almost cinematic 🎬

The variety of skyboxes prevents each journey from feeling like part of the same repeating loop. Every route can have its own mood, lighting, and unique atmosphere ✨

🔥 More Than Just a Preset

Pure Light ReShade 3.0 is being created for players who expect more than oversaturated graphics and a few impressive screenshots 🎮

The focus is on believable lighting, natural transitions between different times of day, and realism that remains consistent throughout the entire journey.

Every shadow, every reflection on the windshield, every illuminated section of the sky, and every darker area inside the cab serves one purpose - to make Euro Truck Simulator 2 look and feel like a real world viewed from the driver’s seat 🚛💨

This is not a graphics setup designed only for one impressive screenshot. 📷

It is about creating the complete atmosphere of a journey — from starting the engine, through hundreds of kilometers on the road, all the way to a late-night stop beneath the lights of a fuel station ⛽🌙
