Sweet Deviance needs your help to grow
First of all, thank you. Seeing people support Sweet Deviance during the first days of v0.6’s early access means more than I know how to say.
I also want to be honest with you about the current situation.
I’ve been working on this for many months now, putting an enormous amount of time into every update. I believe in the game. The people who support it show me that what I’m creating genuinely matters to them. But the project is still growing slowly, and honestly, maintaining this level of work on what it currently earns is getting hard.
I’m not announcing the end of anything. I want to keep developing Sweet Deviance and telling Alex and Noah’s story. But for that to be possible, the game needs to reach more people.
That’s where I need your help.
You do not need to increase your financial contribution to support the game. Liking and commenting on posts, leaving a rating or an honest review on itch.io or wherever else you found the game, recommending it to someone who might enjoy it, or simply talking about it in the communities you’re already part of can genuinely help.
Every interaction helps improve the game’s visibility, while ratings and reviews in particular help new players decide if it’s for them.
To everyone already supporting the project financially, this message isn’t meant to make you feel guilty or pressured. Your support is the reason Sweet Deviance has made it this far.
This story isn’t meant to go on forever. Alex and Noah’s story has an ending, and I want to get there. There is still a long road ahead, and I want to build that journey with the time and care it deserves. And when their story is complete, I hope we can move on to new games and new stories together.
If you enjoy the game and want to see it grow, please help me introduce it to more people.
Thank you for reading, for playing, and for giving Sweet Deviance a chance.
