Sneak Peek Update: December Model 2 – Mechanical Dice Tray/Dice Jail

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you so much to all of our new Patrons for being here. We only just launched yesterday and the response has already been incredibly encouraging. It genuinely means a lot to us that you are willing to support our work and to help us continue designing fun 3D prints. We hope you are enjoying them so far!

Now for the update.

We have been working on a mechanical dice tray that transforms into a dice jail/dice tower below:

• On the table, it starts as a raised dice tray for regular rolling.

• If (when) your dice are no longer giving you the crits you deserve, you can then twist the top outer ring of the tower and the top will open to drop your dice into the dice jail below.

• The jail cell door can also be left open to function as a dice tower with mini catching tray!

We've attached a short video of our latest prototype so you can see the current shape and mechanism. We are still playing around with adding extra details and magnets to ensure the whole mechanism is secure. We're really happy how everything is working so far!

And of course, the whole system can be printed Support Free :)

Our goal is to release the final STL files to Patreon members this weekend as the second model pack for December for both our Drake and Ancient Dragon subscribers!
