Thought I'd tell you more about myself. My photographs will make more sense...

So I started this Patreon in January as an income primarily, after poor health forced me to stop working as a portrait photographer. I found it easier to work with other photographers to bring my visual ideas to life. I'm still trying to achieve that and still have a long way to go.

Its a persona, the wild woman, and one I feel I can embrace easily. I love that I get to go on adventures off the beaten track. I love that I get to undress and feel the cool breeze on my skin and the sea water kissing my toes. I love returning home in the evening with sun burnt eye balls, dusty legs and a sense of contentment I rarely find anywhere else. I love that i get to express raw passion and longing and that I can express that to others visually. Thats so powerful. That connection to the landscape and intuiting it through images has become my niche.

I'd already worked as an artists model for many years so taking that and working in front of a camera felt very easy.

Im a single parent of a neuro diverse child that doesn't go to school. I don't have all the hours to plough into my creative work. In fact finding privacy and time can be tricky, but I'm resourceful. I work really really hard but I never have any money. Typical artist. So your membership means the world to me. Its a tiny community here on Her Wild Nature and I hope it'll grow throughout this summer and beyond. As long as I can physically do these photo shoots and walk into the wild, as that can be gruelling getting to these locations, I will keep going.
