A Note From Markos...

Welcome, friends.

First off, thank you for everything for the past six months! As we grow together, I want to share a few heartfelt thoughts so our community remains a place of creativity, respect, and genuine support. Some of it I feel most stupid even having to say.

1. Kindness and Respect Above All Be kind and supportive in your comments and interactions. This space is built on passion and shared appreciation. If a comment is disrespectful or harassing or even just baiting to get a reaction, I will remove it without hesitation. Should I learn of repeated negativity or harassment toward any member, I will screenshot the offense and remove that person from the page. It really is that simple. I did not think I'd have to say such things. Don't be a dick to each other.

Further: AI-generated art is still often misunderstood. Every comment here contributes to how this new creative frontier is perceived. Look at the current messes the state of AI is in; misuse, fraud, vile things. This makes a page like this a target or at least under scrutiny. Please be mindful in your words — let us celebrate the art for what it is and keep the tone constructive and positive. Let's show we are adults achieving a new frontier. Don't be a dick to the work.

2. I Am an Artist, Not a Content Machine This one makes me feel silly to say. However, I see myself first and foremost as an artist and creator. Each piece I release carries time, heart, and personal effort. I am one man doing the work of many — writing, directing, rendering, editing, and managing everything myself. And as many many of you have said, no one else does such things. But I am not here only to produce on demand the same thing over and over. I intend to push this side, then that. I genuinely hope each video story has some new growth never seen. So, come on. Don't be a dick to me.

3. Not Every Piece Will Speak to Every Heart I will not always hit 110% for every single member, and that is perfectly fine. I release frequently enough that if one video doesn’t resonate with you, the next one very likely will. Different tastes make the world rich, and I have many directions I love to explore. What one person finds ordinary, another may love deeply. I aim high with every project — sometimes to challenge myself, sometimes to try something new. This is what being an artist is about. At its best, Patreon is a place where patrons support the creator’s vision and become part of a living, breathing creative community. Don't be a dick to the work.

4. Teasers and the Future of This Page As a gesture of trust and gratitude, I have uploaded four video teasers for you to download right now. This is a big and somewhat scary step for me, but I believe in you.

I ask that you help me spread the word about this page. In return, I promise to keep creating with passion and integrity. Please understand that I will never make the full videos available for download. This is the only sustainable way I can protect the work and keep this page alive. We have all seen how quickly art / music / videos / movies / etc. is taken, reposted, and drained across the internet and how worthless it becomes. Let us not contribute to that cycle. Don't be a dick to the whole group.
