Thank you for being here — this is the full 16:30-minute version of The Boy from Brno.

This story unfolds over one night in Prague. A rural boy steps into the city and feels its scale immediately — the lights, the speed, the invitation, the anonymity. The film stays close to him. It doesn’t rush. It watches what happens when someone stands between two identities and doesn’t yet know which one will claim him.

Is the city an escape?
Is the countryside a refuge?
Or are they mirrors — reflecting back different parts of the same self?

This piece is very different than many before. It leans into atmosphere and intensity and getting lost while looking to be found. Into stillness and motion... a LOT of motion. Into the private thoughts that don’t get spoken aloud. The questions matter more than the answers.

It is the type of video that would probably be experienced completely differently if one were under that influence... but does not need to be experienced that way. It certainly brings up what I feel like at a club. Part music video, part trance hypnosis, part fever dream that only a city like Prague can provide. Where there are no hard lines and nothing to define you or others. Put your headphones on, get poppers out if you are into that, and get lost in the night. (I'm not advocating, but I'm not going clutch pearls either.)

As always, this project required dozens of render attempts per sequence — testing lighting, movement, expression, timing — until the tone felt precise. Your membership makes that process possible. It gives me the room to refine instead of rush.

I hope you feel the tension in it. The hesitation. The pull. And the payoff.
