LUNCH (No Preview)

It’s set in an office at midday. Everybody’s eating the same thing at their desks—burgers, fries, soda—while one co-worker gets up and walks down the hall to a door off the corridor that isn’t part of the usual routine. Whatever’s behind it, it sends him back smiling and ready to face the rest of the day like the afternoon can’t touch him.

That’s the entire hook, and I’m not going to give you a clipped little sample and pretend it’s the real experience, because it isn’t.
