Stremize 2.4 - External Players, Watched Status, IPTV Speed, Debrid Sync, Ratings, & Faster Details

Version 2.4 introduces major improvements to IPTV performance, external players, metadata loading and clear Continue watching and mark as Watched (movie, show).

What's new:

External Players

You can now choose:

• Internal Player

• External Player

Always use selected player or Ask every time. Available on both Mobile and TV.

Continue Watching & Watched Status

You can now:

• Remove items from Continue Watching

• Mark movies as watched

• Mark individual episodes

• Mark entire seasons

• Mark complete TV shows

Faster Debrid & Add-ons

Debrid verification and add-on loading have been optimized without increasing app startup time.

Up to 5x Faster IPTV Playlists

Device performance is now classified more accurately. Higher-end devices can import and update large playlists significantly faster than before.

Nvidia Shield & Fire TV

Additional playback optimizations have been added for both platforms.

More Ratings

Movie and TV pages now display: IMDb, TMDB and Trakt.

Connecting Trakt still provides synchronization with your personal library, watch history and progress.

New Design and Faster Movie & Show Details

Movie and TV details now load faster, including metadata, artwork, seasons and episodes.

Marking individual episodes or seasons as watched is available via long-press on mobile. Please see the video below for a quick guide.

Users can now share movies and TV shows using direct links. When these links are opened in a browser on Android devices, users will have the option to open the movie or show directly in the Stremize app.

Catalog Improvements

Catalog customization has been improved. We also fixed several issues that caused crashes on some TV devices in version 2.3.

Stability Improvements

Several crashes and performance issues reported through Firebase and Google Play have been fixed.
