GWOT Church Rock (feat. Blood Work)
Welcome to Christian Rock Summer 2026! We're kicking it off this year with an album about spiritual warfare that takes the war metaphor a bit too literally. On today's episode, Josh and Josiah were joined by Tom O'Mahony and Gregk Foley from Blood Work to discuss The Heart of War by Christian "hard rock" band Jonah33.

This probably goes so hard over a Naruto/Sasuke ship AMV
I can't put my finger on what it specifically, but I keep getting Puddle of Mudd vibes.
i hate so say this but the first song samble does sound like a shitty version of the doomstar requim
Feel bad double commenting. But. I played in hardcore bands all throughout highschool in the deep south and played sooooo many church shows opening up for bands like maylene and the sons. This episode spoke to me. Lol
Fuck they do have some riffs god dammit
oh FUCK yes i love hearing Tom dig into music like this, hopefully there would be more to come in that regard
Oh yeeeeeeeeeah! (oh no)
"Kill them with love" kinda loses it metaphorical tone if your next line might as well be 'leave none to tell the story'. Also chills in my blood whenever tbe church of the nazarene is mentioned
Them: "We never see you at the club." Me: "Oh yeah? Well I never see *you* at GWoT Church."
