Jujutsu Trainer Turns One! + Release Date

Good day, Sorcerers!

Today marks one year since Jujutsu Trainer began.

It’s funny looking back at how this project started. One of the reasons I chose Jujutsu Kaisen for my first game was because the cast felt relatively manageable.

And now, one year later, I’m spending nearly a month making a full fight scene.

So much for keeping things simple.

Over the past year, the game has grown far beyond what I originally expected, with more story, combat, animations, progression, side content, UI systems, and plenty of things I didn’t even know how to make when I first started.

Every time I finish a version, I immediately notice something I could have improved, especially with the story and how certain scenes are presented. But I also think that’s one of the clearest signs that I’ve improved.

There are things I can make now that I wouldn’t have known how to approach a year ago, and a large part of that is because of your support.

We’re also getting closer to the game’s more sandbox-focused portion, which means more character events, relationships, adult content, costumes, and optional scenes moving forward.

The story and fights aren’t going anywhere, but after this next big battle...

I think we’ve earned a little break.

As for the next version, I’m aiming for November 3 or 4.

I was testing again earlier and noticed a few more things that didn’t quite match what I wanted, so I went back and adjusted them.

I think that was the last round.

Here’s hoping.
