Quick Update on Development

Good day, Sorcerers!

A small development update on the next version.

This update is very heavy on fighting, and I think I may have gone a little overboard with how much effort I’ve been putting into it.

I’ve been working on this version for around four weeks now, and even after all that time, there are still parts that don’t completely match the vision I originally had in my head. Some of the fight images still aren’t quite where I want them to be, and I keep finding little things I want to redo or improve.

At some point, though, I also have to accept that I can’t keep polishing the same update forever.

I wanted this battle to feel important. Not just another sequence where you keep clicking attacks, but something that feels closer to a proper Jujutsu Kaisen fight, with movement, tension, characters getting involved, and moments that hopefully feel memorable.

This will probably be the last update this combat-heavy for quite a while.

Once this part of the story is finished, we’ll finally be reaching the starting line of the game’s more sandbox-focused portion. The following versions will shift the focus back toward character content, adult scenes, relationship progression, optional events, costumes, and the other parts of the game that haven’t received as much attention during this story-heavy stretch.

There will still be story and fights going forward, of course.

I just don’t plan on spending another month obsessing over a single battle anytime soon.
