Jujutsu Trainer v0.26.2 - Public Access

Good day, Sorcerers!

This update took me quite a bit of effort and looking back, there are still plenty of things I wish I could have polished further. Every time I finish a version, I immediately start noticing what I could improve - especially in the story. I often find myself thinking about how certain scenes could have flowed better, how characters could have interacted differently, or how I could have presented important moments in a more impactful way.

At the same time, I also feel like I've grown quite a bit as a developer over the past few months. Whether it's the UI, the animations, the storytelling, or the battles themselves, I think each update brings me a little closer to the vision I have for Jujutsu Trainer.

This version marks the climax of the current story arc.

The confrontation between Mechamaru and Mahito has finally begun. While the Kyoto students are away on their own mission, everyone is forced to fight a battle of their own. Some fight curses. Some fight for money. While others fight fate.

This update is much more story-driven than the previous ones, and I believe that was the right decision. Rather than interrupt such an important moment with several new adult scenes, I chose to revisit and animate some of the older events instead. It gave me the opportunity to improve content that many of you have already seen while allowing the story to maintain its pacing.

More importantly, this chapter lays the groundwork for everything that comes next.

The combat system continues to evolve, the story begins to expand beyond the current characters, and future boss battles will build upon the mechanics introduced here. My goal is to make every major encounter feel memorable, not just because of the dialogue, but because of the gameplay itself.
