A Modicum of Hope
So after the update, i wasn't really even on Chara, but mainly Jin Mori, considering after seeing his new move and his banger of an ult theme, i was constantly fueled with the hunger to absolutely shit on people. And seeing how even though he has a moveset that most of the time, means certain destruction of the fun found using the moveset, which is the 3 moves and counter, its how it all flows together and grants you an option for every single scenario, whether someone had just ulted, or you're trying to waste someone's evasive, or you are covering an opening on yourself, you can easily work around any problems thrown at you and take advantage of those openings with ease, and his cooldowns make it even more of a danger to be hit by him.
I find it extremely easy to predict and m1 catch people with his m1s moreover any other characters m1s, it might be because of the feel, the hitbox may be different, the size of the sfx on his m1s, either way, i just understand the people I'm fighting more on Jin Mori, i can calculate exactly what they're going to do and when, making his kit deadly in my hands, and all the more fun even though people compare him to Shigaraki from HBG, which is crazy, i don't know how you even compare the two, considering one is made with horrible move design and no effort whatsoever, while the other is made to flow incredibly well with each move, renewal taekwondo having such a clean and concise feeling to it, with each impact feeling like heaven itself is gracing you with its presence, whirlwind kick serving as a great part of his moveset, showing that even though you can run with it and be a bitch with it, you can also do massive damage with it, and catch people off guard with it, and lastly his dragon dropkick having a smooth starting combo with hyperarmor if you hit the first kick, which even though its most of the time not that useful, its the mechanic that matters, providing different outcomes to different scenarios even if it doesn't happen often, and we cant forget about the ending grab that feels so incredibly good to hit, like oh my goodness gracious, oh and i almost forgot his counter, i mean, it may not provide any use off of it, besides an rng based combo extender, but it does good damage, and just adds extra flair to his kit, along with it being able to counter almost everything, ult moves included.
All in all, his renewal taekwondo is meant to waste someone's evasive, making it a biome of different encounters that change with each person you go against, his whirlwind kick having insane movement capabilities, serving as a core component of his all rounder archetype, along with it doing a crazy amount of damage, and lastly his dragon dropkick serving as yet another evasive bait, but with way more risk considering the ending grab has immense endlag, but once again, this move has proven to create so many different situations and encounters, and lastly his counter being almost a 1:1 to Shigaraki's counter, it not only looks cooler, but has rng to it, that right there, transforms Jin Mori's counter into something better than that piece of shit counter Shigaraki has. Everything has a use in his kit, and it all plays into how you use it, and how your experience plays into the 50/50's it forces.
