It’s Patch Day! 1.13.2026

today is patch day for the Sims 4! (They’re doing some bug updates, etc) y’all know what this means non compatible mods and cc will break!!!!

I suggest turning off auto updates and playing in off-line mode if you still wanna play with your mods and wait for the creators to give them all clear if their mods are compatible or not this may take a week or so depending on the creator and how complex the mod is. Hopefully none of the mods break, but we all know how the Sims is.

IF YOU DO DECIDE TO UPDATE:

♡ Scarlett realms mod list checker♡ is an amazing resource to use to check if the mods have been affected by patch day. Some creators might not be listed, so make sure you follow the creator on patron or that social media!

Also, when you load into your Sims 4 game custom content and script mods will be disabled, so your Sims are going to look crazy but all you have to do is go into your settings and enable custom content and script mods again and restart your game. Most cc isn’t affected but script mods will definitely be affected if it’s a ratchet patch 😭.
