You guys are making me feel self conscious about using the reactions for text messages. I graduated high school the same year as Johnny and I have friends all around that age (early to mid 30s) and we all use them. It鈥檚 like the more fun reactions in Discord but just much more basic. I will pull out a more specific emoji in the reactions occasionally but the thumbs up reaction doesn鈥檛 bother me because it tells me they actually read what I sent. I could see it being annoying if you require a response and all you get is a thumbs up though.
I grew up like half an hour down 81 from Hagerstown in Winchester, it鈥檚 cool to hear that people from our age group seemingly grew up and opened nerd stores around our area. We also had a large scene / alt / hardcore music community in the 2005-2012 era so I鈥檓 sure a lot of them helped shaped things as adults. Glad you enjoyed your time in Hagerstown! The outlets used to be the main attraction lol
The Sheetz slander hurts
I tried the burrito once and thought it sucked. I do like all the customizations you can do for coffee though. What鈥檚 your go-to that鈥檚 not smothered in some gooey substance so I can give it another chance? I鈥檓 in Ohio and there are plenty of Sheetz around here.
The gas station hot and fresh prepared food industry is an absolute war zone. Stores and brands trying to capture the fast food customers who are getting priced out because a big Mac is $10. Guy Fieri signed a BILLION dollar exclusivity deal with Circle K gas stations for his "flavor town" food line. Think gas station frozen burgers ran through a toaster over then mac and cheese dumped on it and then thrown under a hot lamp. Its absolutely mind boggling seeing places where you get condoms and cigs try to fight over fast food now.
