Yooo Geek U.S.A. Mentioned! Nice pull Johnny
Oliver Tree dying was fucked up. He was a positive force in music and it's so sad that he's gone.
I know how you can un curse the Dallas cowboys but it’s not very ethical
Was the space game Meg was thinking of Star Citizen? I never played it but I heard wild stuff about it.
I always listen to the full episode! Also I don't watch SNL but I like Sarah Sherman
I am a General Aviation pilot here in the US and can comment on a few things you asked about the Oliver Tree crash. I don't have any rotor time, only fixed wing, but m Dad is a flight instructor so I can share his comments. If a helicopter loses power it can safely "glide" to a landing under a concept called auto-rotation. The rotors will spin on their own in a "fall" and you can control your decent. If the tail rotor breaks or seizes though the torque of the top blades will cause it to spin like a beyblade. Unrecoverable. As far as flying traffic in Brazil I can't comment, but in the US once you leave the controlled airspace of an airport it's kind of just the wild west and air traffic control doesn't come into the picture. Now there are routes and rules and regs about how low you can fly and no-fly zones over populated areas, but typically speaking once you leave you're on your own. I believe helicopters in the US do have different traffic patterns and approaches on certain airports but normally when I deal with them they're following the fixed wing aircraft procedures. You aren't required to have an ADS-B becon in your plane and legally speaking you don't even need to have a radio, though a radio is a must. A lot of airports are "uncontrolled" and you and the others flying around have to keep eachother clued in on what you're doing. I've had two near misses that was the fault of a plane with no radio that flew way to close into me. And with the small general aviation planes you do not see them coming until they're close. So two helicopters flying around a city could easily just slam into eachother.
For reference and to brag about my Dad, he had the largest Cessna pilot center on the west coast and operated out of Gibbs field in San Diego before we moved to Alaska.
Hey Meg, do less!

I actually really enjoy the SNL young comedian talk. I found it really enlightening and a bit heartwarming. I just didn't have anything valuable to say. Sadly, that statement implies all my other shitty comments are valuable, and now I don't know what to think about myself.
Derrick Padres UNcursed shirt coming soon
