Can you make the Harry Potter Ilvermorny uniform? Ilvermorny robes were coloured blue and cranberry, and were fastened by a gold Gordian Knot. They were designed by Ilvermorny's two founders, Isolt Sayre and James Steward: Isolt chose the colour blue because she had wanted to be in Ravenclaw house if she had attended Hogwarts, and James chose cranberry because of his love for cranberry pie.[1] The gold Gordian Knot was a reference to one of Isolt's prize possessions; a brooch that had belonged to her mother, which Isolt had found in the ruins of the original Ilvermorny Cottage. The design of Ilvermorny's uniform apparently changed over the centuries: In the Sayre family portrait, Chadwick and Webster Boot were shown wearing identical blue robes with cranberry red trim. They were also shown wearing black waistcoasts and brown breeches underneath their robes.
