Tiers Update

Hi everyone,

I'm making some changes regarding the Tiers. If you are already a member, nothing changes for you.

To be honest, I didn't expect anyone to subscribe this early. Your belief in The Darkness Within before the first release is... unbelievable, to say the least. Because you’re here at the start, I want to reward that trust.

The Legacy Transition

The current tiers will become both time and count limited. I was going to increase the prices of the Tiers eventually, but didn't like to do so without actually giving back something in return to those who believed in the game even before it has a release.

I am converting the current tiers into Legacy Slots. There are only 10 spots for each (and 2 for Echo Guides). Once they are gone, or once Chapter 1 drops, they are closed forever. If you’re in, you’re in for life at this original price.

This list should give a good idea of what's changing:

  • Awakened ➡️ Legacy Awakened (current price) [limited to 10 & will disappear after Chapter 1 releases]

  • Dream Walker ➡️ First Dream Walker (current price) [limited to 10 & will disappear after Chapter 1 releases]

  • Academist ➡️ Founder Academist (current price) [limited to 10 & will disappear after Chapter 1 releases]

  • Guide ➡️ Echo Guide (current price) [limited to 2 & will disappear after Chapter 1 releases]

While the Legacy Tiers remain, the 'Normal' Tiers will appear as well. Their prices will have their respective increases (expect around 2 times increase), while the benefits will remain the same. Those will be the 'default' ones once Chapter 1 releases.

I tend to overthink these things because I want this to be perfect for you guys. Thank you for being the foundation of this world.

Note on NSFW Content

A small Warning for those who are interested in the 4K NSFW Wallpapers in the Academist Tier. Currently, only the April Wallpaper is truly NSFW. This will change with the new ones though, fear not!

Alright, that's it for today's Announcement. Hope everyone has a good start in the week! Love you all.
