Notice: A Sims 4 Mystery Patch Rumored for Release
TLDR: A pretty hefty Game Patch is rumored for February 25th, 2025 which might break a lot of mods!
There’s rumors swirling that tomorrow, February 25th, there is a patch releasing. This patch may be a pre-patch for the March 6th Game Business & Hobbies Expansion Pack, which would be unusual for Maxis. Typically, such a pre-patch is released the Tuesday or Thursday before the expansion pack. Still out of an abundance of caution, I’m warning you to please pause updates for the Sims 4 until the dust settles after tomorrow’s patch. If it releases, your favorite Modders will be working to pick apart the many changes the pre-patch and later the expansion will bring to the game. While it can be difficult to predict how long your favorite mods will be out of commission, it typically takes us (TURBO, Basemental, and me) few hours to about 2 days to release a patch depending on how many fundamental systems are altered... and this pack looks like it may bring many! I’ll be in discord while patching tomorrow for those who want a more up to the moment prediction for how the patch is going, but for those who don’t use discord, I’ll be silently updating this post here as the process progresses, to keep you informed with how the patch is coming.
Again, If you plan to play your modded sims 4 while we are working on the patch, then I highly recommend you disable updates. You can do this by opening the EA app, looking for the 3 horizontal bars in the upper left corner -> Settings -> hit the download tab just below settings (It’s not immediately obvious it’s a tab) then click off update games automatically, I’d probably disable ‘Enable Background Downloads’ just to be safe too. Then hit the 3 horizontal bars again and hit ‘go offline.’ This should prevent the sims 4 from auto-updating while your Mod Authors work on patches for you. If you want to be extra tinfoil, so shiny and chrome, you can disconnect your computer from the internet too, but that’s probably a bit cray cray, but we love things a bit crazy here don’t we?

So I can't seem to find any options to change the sex settings back to manual mode like we used to be able to do. When I bring up the settings menu there's no sex settings at all.
Hey again Tess! I hope all is well! Yes, way back in the forever time WW sex location picking was based on objects, and not rooms, which isn't at all how we intuitively search for sex locations. So, I built a lightweight autonomy system specifically for prostitution which would be based on rooms including an option for the WW style searching, and a fully manual mode. WW updated their logic to become room based, making my custom logic redundant so I ended up removing those options entirely. I know some people want the manual control back. I'm finishing up an update with a major change to how sexual boundaries work with prostitution, I'll take a look to see if I can easily add back in the manual control method. Thank ya thank ya for the LE and your support! That's certainly a weird one. As the LE says, I don't think it's coming from WP, but I'm not really sure where it's coming from. It's saying that it can't update your sim's data on a relationship change because a relationship bit is missing for the given track. Are you using any mods with custom relationships, or which override base game relationships? If you are, you could try AB testing by temporarily removing said mod.
Hi Nisa! I've been testing out the escorts part of the WW strip club, and every single day I get a LE for the nonetype on the base_game.py. I've deleted every simulation fix/unclogger, disabled culling, reinstalled basemental/WW/WP and made sure all are up to date, and deleted all cache and it's still happening? Any other ideas? I saw old news about this, but haven't seen anyone else have this issue recently :( Thank you!

Hi Nisa! I love the mod! Most recently, I am noticing that all of my "employees" are having repeat instances of "Dissatisfied Customer" and the customer refusing to pay - Afterward the option to "Start servicing client" is still available as if it never happened; I complete it a 2nd time, and same thing - Dissatisfied customer and they refuse to pay - It's not logging an error, it's just a dialogue box that pops up each time - All of the associated skills are maxed, and this just started recently happening after this last update :/ Is there anything you can think of that could be an issue? Thanks!
Hmmmm, so I can try to reproduce it, what's the context where this is happening? Keep in mind, sometimes clients will request specific categories. Like oral sex or teasing. If you don't perform in the requested categories, then the 'sex' won't count. I know this isn't ideal, so I'm actually working to do away with this system for a more generalized satisfaction based system. But that may be what's happening. If your prostitute is the player, then you should also be able to click on your sims and check time, that is check how much time has been logged for the current sex job.

Thank you thank you for the LE!!!! This is an interesting one, it looks like a earlier injection of mine if falsely picking this up as a 'false positive' error because code in the original function was injected into by my function later which did cause the error (the range maths). So it's like injection inception and the first injection error detection wasn't aware of the later injection causing errors. Anyways, you are right. It's me. I see a fix and I'll patch it this week. I'll have to think about how I could detect error inception, but anywho. This happens when you have a looping sex playlist with prostitution sex. So in the meantime just don't use looping sex playlists with prostitution sex. But, like I said, you won't have to wait long. Thank you so much for the error report!!!!
Hi! I'm having issues and I'm not sure if the mod is working fully? I remember when I had the older version that there used to be a separate settings option for this mod and now there isn't? I also can't access the prostitution system of the mod via in game computer. It's just not an option for me. However the traits are showing up and working just fine? Also occults don't show up. I have downloaded the mod correctly I believe by unzipping and placing the unzipped file into my mods folder and it does show up in my mods
Hey Ivanzeskele! A few ideas. First the most common; Please pay special care to how deep you place my files in your mod folder. Script mods can't be further than 1 subfolder deep from the root (Mods) folder. This means 'Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods / NisasWickedPerversions / files go here` is okay but 'Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods / Some Folder / NisasWickedPerversions / files go here` is not. The tam explorer not showing up on the computer, or the tam tab on the phone means that for some reason my scripts aren't loading into your game. Next, make sure script mods are enabled in your settings menu (the base game settings menu, I've had a few people forget to re-enable script mods after an update). It's also possible onedrive is doing fuckery. OneDrive is notorious for messing around with the sims 4 modding folder. Finally, If you are getting any Last Exception files (called LEs for short) then please send them my way. Thank you for your support! We'll get this figured out!!!
Any time in the future when we will be able to go back to control prostitution sex? It’s all on automatic now and I would like to be able to control it fully.

Hii, I’m having issues with the mod, I can’t access the piercing parlor on the sim’s pc and also can’t find the Tam Explorer. It just doesn’t show up on the pc.
Hey Cherry, this typically happens when the mod is installed incorrectly. Please pay special care to how deep you place my files in your mod folder. Script mods can't be further than 1 subfolder deep from the root (Mods) folder. This means 'Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods / NisasWickedPerversions / files go here` is okay but 'Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods / Some Folder / NisasWickedPerversions / files go here` is not. Also make sure you have the latest version of WW and Basemental drugs installed (the latest public/free versions are fine too) and if you are getting any Last Exception files (called LEs for short) then please send them my way. Also, make sure you are testing with a Young Adult or older sim.

The mod should be in mostly working order. I do need to update succubi to support the custom tattoos (I thought I added support in with the pre-patch, but the game pack behaved a bit differently than I expected), but everything else should be working. I even started a small business in my save to test some things and work on adding official prostitution support. Are you getting any Last Exceptions? If so, please send me the latest one via a no account needed, free service such as pastebin.com If you aren't getting a LE, then you could try a minimal install test. Just WW, WP, load the game (without saving), if the game loads, then it's likely a third mod may be breaking upstream of WP causing other things to break.
My WP is not working at all
Oops I auto updated and now every time I open my game my Easter hare sim just disappears :( I didn’t realize my game was auto updating tbh. Guess I’ll have to wait for your patch.
