"Do girls like us even get to dream?"

◆ Sub-story: Reencountering Mai-san (Cafeteria Scene)

Encountering this character may lack significance in certain routes, while heavily impacting the narrative in others.

This marks the introduction of the core gameplay mechanic for Patch 0.07. Visible dialogue choices have been removed. Routes and branching paths are primarily determined by in-game actions, player exploration, and visits to specific locations at specific times.

◆ Sub-story: Auditorium (Misaki)

◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆

◆ First H-Scene in Patch 0.07 (Continuation from the first P.E. class route)

Accessing this scene involves high difficulty, requiring specific choices carried over from previous patches, precise in-game actions, correct route selection, and strict time management. However, development of this scene is essential as it depicts a concurrent event occurring with another character during that specific timeframe.

This highlights a core gameplay mechanic introduced in Patch 0.07: it is impossible to witness all events simultaneously. For instance, being present in the classroom at 10:00 AM means missing any events happening in the gymnasium at that exact moment. The determining factor is what triggers a departure from a location at that specific time.

Additionally, in-game time progresses continuously with movement. Upon arriving at a new location, an event may have already concluded, leaving the occurrence of that specific event or H-Scene entirely undiscovered.

◆ Game Over System Implementation (Max Lust)

Game Over System Implementation (Max Lust)

Concept and System Adjustments Initially, the plan was to simply reduce HP or AP when the Lust gauge reached maximum to maintain a faster development pace. However, from a narrative perspective, this felt unnatural and inconsistent with the TAE (The Asmodeus Eyes) System possessed by Yuta. According to the core lore, when Lust reaches maximum capacity, Yuta completely loses control over powers.

Development Challenges Implementing this feature presents high complexity:
Calculations must account for every scenario where Lust can reach maximum capacity.
Short story paths, mini H-scenes, and capture events must be created prior to reaching the Game Over screen.
Approximately 6-10 unique scenes are required across various locations (e.g., classrooms, school restrooms, downtown, convenience stores, etc.).

Schedule Impact Creating each scene requires approximately 2 to 3 days. Prior to introducing this feature, overall progress for version 0.07 was at approximately 10–15%, with an unconfirmed release timeline.

Consequently, incorporating these additional scenes will extend the development schedule by approximately one full month beyond the initial estimate.

Conclusion To achieve the highest level of narrative coherence and gameplay completeness, development will proceed fully with this feature. The primary focus remains on delivering maximum quality, despite doubling the workload and extending the release timeline.

◆ Lust Drain & Lust Management System
and
◆ Map Male Toilet : Sinks/ Toilet /Urinal ( Daily Life sim Function)

Lust Drain & Lust Management System
Lust Drain & Lust Management System Overview Following the decision to implement Overview Following the decision to implement dedicated events for maximum Lust capacity (leading primarily to Bad Ends and Game Over screens), a Lust reduction system has been added.

New Skill: Lust Drain Development of the purchasable skill Lust Drain is now complete. This skill converts all accumulated Lust into LP in exchange for AP and Energy, accompanied by a short cutscene.

Alternative Lust Discharge Without acquiring the skill, alternative methods remain available to discharge Lust. Although no LP will be granted through these alternative methods, managing Lust remains essential to avoid reaching maximum capacity and triggering a Bad End.

◆ Map Canteen : Vending Machine Area / Food Counters / New Item and Food

Access Points: The area is accessible via two entrances: the Old Gymnasium and the front of the School Building. Upon entering, the main canteen entrance and the Vending Machine area are located here.

Vending Machine: Purchases can be made at any time during school operating hours, with no specific opening or closing times.

Version 0.07 Implementation Details:

  • Current System: Functionality in version 0.07 is focused on walking to the counter, selecting a menu, and consuming food to increase various statuses.

  • Future Development (Roaming System): A fully interactive Roaming format, similar to the school building and city maps, is planned for future updates. This planned system will involve walking into the canteen, ordering at the counter, and selecting a specific seat. Various characters will be stationed at different seating areas, and specific events may trigger during meals depending on the chosen seat.

  • Development Note: Implementing the full Roaming system at this current stage would cause further delays to the release of version 0.07. Therefore, these advanced features have been postponed and will be added in subsequent patches instead.

Canteen Food Mechanics: Meals purchased from the school canteen are consumed immediately and cannot be stored in the inventory. However, these meals yield significantly higher status increases compared to items from convenience stores or Vending Machines.

Menu Suggestions: Suggestions for interesting national dishes are welcome. If suitable 3D assets are available and appropriate for a school canteen setting, they will be considered for addition to the in-game menu. Standard 2D images cannot be utilized, as the future implementation of the roaming mode and mealtime story events necessitates the use of 3D models to be rendered within the studio environment alongside the specific scenes.

◆ Discussion Regarding Gameplay Direction in Patch 0.07

What is the power of The Asmodeus Eyes?

"Secrets are the most dangerous power of all." — Leigh Bardugo

"He who controls the information controls the world." — Alvin Toffler

"Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past." — George Orwell

These powerful quotes from world leaders and leading thinkers serve as the foundation for the TAE power within the narrative. In Patch 0.07, information and secrets constitute Yuta's primary source of power.

In Roaming mode, specific interactive symbols will appear. Upon interaction, options will be presented to either open a door or utilize a skill. This applies to almost all locations within the school.

To avoid the risk of blindly entering potentially dangerous situations, such as an occupied locker room, the most crucial power and skill in Patch 0.07 must be utilized: See True. This skill grants the ability to see through doors or walls.

Compared to an RPG, the school functions as the starting map, while doors and walls act as the "monsters." The character's primary "attack" is the See True skill. Consequently, the See True minigame must be played frequently. It functions similarly to a basic attack button in RPGs or other non-AVN genres, serving as a fundamental action.

In RPGs, attacks evolve and progress, making monsters easier to defeat. The progression system for TAE was designed around this concept. Since the "monsters" are stationary doors or walls, and the end result of using the skill remains the same (seeing through them), the difficulty was intentionally set high in the early stages (Patch 0.06). This initial high difficulty in the See True minigame was a deliberate design choice, which may have caused frustration for some players.

Upgrading various statuses does not increase "damage" for the See True skill. Instead, the minigame becomes progressively easier: the cursor speed decreases, the time limit extends, and the chance of error is minimized. This results in lower AP consumption and a reduced risk of a Game Over from running out of time. Retaining more AP allows for further exploration. Proper management of the inventory and AP-recovery items significantly lowers the game's difficulty. This mirrors the concept of attacks becoming stronger and monsters dying easier in RPGs, but adapted for a realistic narrative setting.

Because the story revolves around a protagonist acquiring powers in the real world, the in-game world is designed to mirror reality as closely as possible. Minor systems like Saving, or the ability to see through walls, hold immense utility for an ordinary person's life. Furthermore, powers must carry both benefits and consequences depending on how they are utilized. Continuously spying on locker rooms until the Lust gauge reaches maximum will result in a penalty where power control is completely lost, leading to a Game Over.

At this stage in version 0.07, the gameplay loop and rough quest progression are becoming visible. Those wishing to avoid spoilers should skip the following section.

As an example of a difficult-to-access route (without spoiling the exact entry method): Upon sustaining an injury in the gymnasium, a visit to the infirmary becomes necessary...

There will be no choices or scenes popping up for you to decide. The only available option is to exit to the Old Gymnasium map.

And there is no Infirmary available to select. If you explored the school in the morning, you will know that it is located in the School Building. But what if you go somewhere else before going to the Infirmary?

When going to the Canteen before 11:00 AM, you will encounter Mai-san. (And of course, if you are not injured, you will not be able to come to the Canteen at this time, which means there will be no Mai storyline in the Canteen.)

The question is, is it possible to not come to the Canteen and go straight to the Infirmary? Absolutely. The storyline in the Infirmary will remain the same, but whether it affects the subsequent storyline will be explained below, which is a part of the gameplay.

If choosing to head toward the front of the Gymnasium and entering the gym...

...it will be revealed that all students except Yuta's class are at the Gymnasium. Police and women in black are present to prevent anyone from leaving and entering. If you do not come here, you will only know that Class 2-C must go to the Old Gymnasium, and all regular classes are postponed for a P.E. class with the new teacher, Haruka, which she mentioned during the morning homeroom.

And upon exiting the Gymnasium, the game will not force you to go anywhere. However, the objective from the story, which some people prefer to skip reading but can post questions in the group or ask others with screenshots attached (choosing to skip the simple method of reading the story) to ask where to go next or why a Game Over occurred, instead of going to the Infirmary as the story dictates.

Okay, when we go to the School Building, time will continuously progress.

But you still have the freedom to walk to various locations. Because outside of this quest or this storyline, being able to walk around the school during class time is highly beneficial for gathering information. For example, someone might be skipping the meeting in a room, or someone might be secretly doing something in a room. However, that must be exchanged for the most valuable resource in the game: Time.

And once you have visited the Infirmary, a shortcut will open up. But if not, it will not be available, like in this picture where there is only the Faculty Room.

And when arriving at the Infirmary within the specified time, the event in the Infirmary will be seen. (Arriving too early might result in missing it. Arriving too late means the event has already passed, and you will not even know that this event occurred in the Infirmary, similar to Mai in the Canteen and Misaki in the Gymnasium.)

When you arrive at the Infirmary, the homeroom teacher will not be there. And if those who went to the Gymnasium first used the See True skill, they would know that she is at the Gymnasium.

After waiting for a moment, the Mind Echo sound will trigger, letting Yuta know that someone is in the room, but the room is locked.

When using See True, an H-Scene event will be encountered, presenting choices to either help or wait and watch the H-Scene until the end. The story and the use of various skills in the scene will be skipped here. Discussing the top choice to help, assistance must be sought from someone else. But from whom?

After making the selection, it will return to Roaming Mode again. It does not tell who needs to be informed, nor does it tell where to go. But you already know where everyone is right now, or perhaps you might not know because of coming straight to the Infirmary.

Information and secrets are the most powerful weapons. You already have the information. How will it be used regarding the secret witnessed in the Infirmary. Who will be informed. You choose through your actions. The invisible choices rely on the information you possess, rather than game or narrative guidance. If you choose not to tell anyone, simply return to the Gymnasium, change clothes, and proceed to the Canteen to eat, acting as if you were never injured and never needed to visit the Infirmary (similar to another route).

However, if you choose to proceed to the Canteen to inform Mai...

...within the designated time limit, which is exactly when her meal is finished and she is about to leave, you will encounter her.

Here, the invisible choice mechanic activates again, relying on the information Yuta possesses. If Yuta previously watched the evening television broadcast, specific news would have been revealed, explaining why both Misaki and Mai-san are present at the school. Consequently, Yuta's dialogue, which connects these pieces of information, establishes credibility with Mai. She will then report this matter to a certain individual and instruct Yuta to return to the homeroom teacher, Haruka, to inform her as well.

Conversely, if Yuta has not seen the television news (even if you might have seen it on a different save file). The specific contents of the news will not be heavily spoiled here, though hints exist within the narrative. Yes, in the story, you are the one who knows. However, if you loaded a new save or selected a different path, Yuta's current narrative progression means he remains unaware upon encountering Mai again. Lacking any information, he will only speak of what he directly witnessed, resulting in Mai disbelieving him.

"Get out of my way, or I will tell the police."

This exemplifies choices derived entirely from player actions, which is the core system of this game. This is similar to the tutorial phase, where you know about NPC2's 1 million debt. However, upon reaching the event to pay the debt, if you walk in empty-handed, failing to purchase currency from the LP Shop or withdraw cash, and choose to approach the debt collectors with nothing, a Bad End is triggered. You must utilize the information you have. Furthermore, sometimes you must ensure that Yuta acquires the same information that you know. Only then will the correct outcome from the invisible choices be generated.

The conclusion of this specific event (which is just one route branching from the P.E. class, continuing from choices made in Patch 0.06) branches into 5 to 7 different outcomes. Accessing this route is also extremely difficult. A brief overview of these variations includes:

  • Choosing to continue watching (not providing immediate help at the Infirmary prompt).

  • Remaining completely unaware of the Infirmary event.

  • Knowing about the event but failing to help, whether intentional or unintentional. For example, choosing not to seek help from anyone and instead spying in restrooms or classrooms until Mai leaves the Canteen, or Haruka leaves the Gymnasium for the lunch break, causing the Infirmary event to conclude.

  • Helping by returning directly to Haruka, due to lacking the knowledge that Mai is at the Canteen.

  • Helping by informing the police stationed at the front doors of the Gymnasium.

  • Helping by informing Mai first, which further branches into two paths:

Mai believes the information and recommends informing the homeroom teacher.

Mai disbelieves Yuta's account.

As a final note regarding this scene: After you and Haruka finish, you will see the girls walking toward the room on the left. If you use the See True skill to look inside, you will find the scene featured in the Max Lust preview video. (You can choose to prevent the Lust gauge from maxing out and watch the scene until the end by reducing Lust prior to viewing, utilizing the methods mentioned previously.) Preview Scene Click Here

This is the gameplay preview and the current development progress of the game as of August 9th.

If you have read up to this point, you can likely understand why a definitive release date for patch 0.07 cannot be confidently announced. Just a single sub-story from the P.E. class branches out into 7 to 8 different paths. Additionally, every location must be configured to accommodate player exploration across various timeframes, such as the locker room scene shown in the preview.

Finally, I would like to apologize once again for the significant delay of patch 0.07. I maintain my previous stance: I completely understand if you decide to cancel your support at this time and wait to resume it once the game is released. You really should feel free to do so.

To those who have continued to support me throughout this time, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me pay the electricity bills to keep working on this crazy TAE project every month, even without receiving anything in return.

Thank You LuxElly
