iiSU Alpha 0.0.4

Alpha 0.0.4 is now available!!!!

This release focuses heavily on metadata scraping, UI polish, navigation improvements, and bug fixes reported in the previous alpha.

This is a big quality-of-life update and sets the base for what comes next.

What’s New / Improved

Metadata & Scraper

• New metadata scraper system with a cleaner and more flexible backend.

• IGDB integration:

  • Search results and user feedback.

  • Options to skip games that already have media.

  • Custom search queries per ROM.

  • Ability to fetch metadata for all tabs.

  • Option to show more matches when selecting games.

• Asset handling is now smarter:

  • Clear and re-fetch metadata when needed.

  • Better logging and progress indicators.

Notes

This release is mainly about stability, polish, and foundations.
The next cycle will continue improving the scraper, single screen mode and addressing remaining bugs.
