Do you typically buy a character's skin if I make a mod for it?
Now with Sunna's maid skin mod finished, I was curious how many of my members actually have the skin and are able to use the Sunna mod. Given how much time it can take to design a mod for a new skin, I want to make sure I am not spending too much time making them if most members aren't even able to use it.
If most say they don't, this doesn't mean I won't make them in the future, it just may help me get a better idea for how to allocate time and resources. Especially since I am starting up Arknights and ZZZ seems to be putting out more and more skins. Let me know what your situation is below:

Too late for the poll, but I buy skins because they're lovely, but more so specifically because of the available mods for them, if I see a modded skin I adore but I gotta buy the skin to use it I save up specifically to get that skin
Given the polling results so far, it seems like the general census is that most members buy at least some of the paid skins, but that more are inclined to purchase skins if I make dedicated mods for them. If that's the case, it seems like they'd still be worth dedicating time to, moving forward. To make them worth the effort on my part, since less people in general can use them and that results in less reach, I may have to be more restrictive as to when they are shared to a general free audience on other platforms. Perhaps when their initial discount ends in the game, I would feel comfortable sharing them on places like Gamebanana. Of course, they would be available here day 1, as per usual. Thanks for the insights
I have most of the characters and there's not been a skin that I've not bought so far. I even got Jane's skin before I got Jane, because I was planning on getting her anyway. I imagine if there's an agent I'm just straight up not interested in, I probably wouldn't buy a skin for them, but so far none of the agents I'm not into have gotten skins yet.
I have bought a decent amount of skins, though mostly because I was exclusively a mobile player at the time and they were my only choices for cosmetics. Now I’m a bit more picky but sunna’s was a must buy for me and honestly I’ll probably end up buying Ari’s too since I’ve been hyped for the angels for a while now. TLDR I buy skin if pretty, mods for pretty skin are nice bonus
9 times out of 10 I only buy a skin if there's a mod I just have to have for it. I wasn't even interested in Sunna until you're skins. Now I'm after her XD
“If I like the skin, I buy it, but if there’s an amazing, really cool mod, then I’ll definitely buy it. For example, I didn’t really like Sunna’s skin, but I bought it because of the mod you made it turned out incredible.
For Sunna I was going to buy the skin regardless, but I have bought skins because I saw a mod a liked a lot
I would honestly rather give you the money than buy the skin in game.
Im considering making Aria's skin assets a part of her base mod, to be usable without the paid skin. Since it will be Patreon exclusive and the two share very similar dress shapes. You may not have to buy it!
If I only buy skins when you make a mod, does that count?
lol I suppose, even if its just a self fulfilling prophecy
I only buy skins for characters I love. So far that's been Alice and Sunna, and I've been loving your mods for both of them. I could see a world where your skin mods make me buy one for characters I only like. After all, your Shungus mod almost made me cough up gems to roll her LOL
If i dont like the base version of a skin but someone makes a mod that looks sick i usually buy the skin just for the mod.
So far I've bought every skin but it's been tough finding mods for them, especially quality ones that stay up to date. Sunna is the first time that I waited to see if anyone would even make mods for the skin. Your mod actually convinced me to get Sunna's skin, it was such a high quality mod 👍
Sounds like Hoyo should be offering me salary then
