Official Status Update on State of Arknights Endfield Modding
Seemingly, modding is possible for the game, and is actively being worked on. According to this post, XXMI devs are working out the kinks and will give out updates as they come.

As soon as tools are live for it, and Ive worked out exactly how to export, I'll start dropping some mods. Since there are so many characters and so little time to mod all of them, I'll put out some polls for which characters to mod first and start releasing basic ones. I'll save the more comprehensive mods for popular characters like Endministrator, Yvonne and Laevatain. And then see what more can be done for the rest of the character roster.

And Ive been messing around with Nangong, since she's in the game right now. 2.7 needs to come earlier! 😭😭😭

The official EFMIf mod tools were released today. Still in alpha, so probably not as smooth as one would like it atm
Im aware, I saw the update. Ive already set it up and have add ons for Blender installed, but I'll still have to dedicate some time to modding a character start to finish. Once Sunna is done I should have a bit more time available for getting the fundamentals down for Arknights

Perlica and Chen are in every cut-scene/story ark and are the go-too's until u get 6 star characters so they'd be a good choice for the initial mods. Plus, they're both cuties. ...Nangong looks so yummy btw :)

Its definitely a travesty. Some people are able to do basic mods ATM using unofficial launchers, but those are very risky when it comes to bans. Patiently waiting for the official launcher
