Crash Course Coins!
Some news: We’re excited to be launching the first annual Crash Course Coins, and we wanted to share the announcement with you, our patrons! These limited edition, beautifully engraved coins are available as an opportunity for viewers to support Crash Course outside of Patreon. There is also a Patron Coin available for free for those who have supported us on Patreon for over 3 years (more info about that below!).
These coins are not replacing Patreon, and we want you to know that we are more grateful than ever for your generosity as a patron. Whether you’ve been a patron for one month or many years, we really rely on your support and it does not go unnoticed. Crash Course would not be possible without you. The coins are simply another way for viewers to support our mission, if they are not interested in supporting monthly on Patreon.
About the Coins:
There are 2 limited edition coins available for any viewers who are interested in supporting Crash Course. Each coin purchase will provide us with enough funding to reach thousands of learners. You can check out the coins at crashcoursecoin.com
Additionally, the Patron Coin will be available for any interested Crash Course patrons who have been active supporters for 3+ years (joined June 2018 or earlier), as a thank you for being such an integral supporter throughout Crash Course’s history. These patrons should receive an email shortly (if they haven't already) with instructions on how to claim their coin. So if you’ve been a patron for over 3 years, check your email! Feel free to send us a message if you have questions.
Thank you for all your support!

Off by a year...$100 coin a great investment. Keep up the great work!
Off by a month too! July 2018. It's all G tho, I only donate a buck. I already got post cards and all sorts.
damn....missed it by 1 month - joined in July 2018 :( Oh well, got a $100 coin anyway - great materials out there CC team - you rock.
Really excited to claim my coin. (I found the email.)
Surprised there was no extra shipping to Canada!
Always a delight, but then again the international shipping is included in the Life's Library Book Club, too, so I wasn't surprised. 📚🥰
I HAVE PUSHED BUTAN TO RECEIVE COIN! U GIEV EDUCATION! U MAKE WORLD BETTER PLACE! GEIV COIN!
Wow, didn’t realize how long it’s been. I checked my emails and I’ve been enjoying and supporting Crash Course since 2013 back when this used to be Subbable. It’s amazing how long you’ve all been making great educational content. Thank you for all you do to further education!!
I ordered mine as soon as I got the email. I knew it was going to be a thing from earlier livestream nerd-festing, but I'm still so excited that it's actually a thing!
Got my order put in for my 3+ year Patron coin. This does make me wonder, how many of my fellow Subbable alumni are still around?
That's what I was missing above. I *was* on Subbable as well prior to the change. I had forgotten about that.
Hmm... I haven't been a continuous patron since June 2018, only since December 2018. I was *also* a patron for most of 2015 and 2016, though, before I had to drop it for a while. Does/can that get factored into the "3 years" computation for the patron coin? Edit - well, there's the email, so I guess so!
Really clever, I'd be interested in Crash Course NFT's if you ever made them, regardless hope your able to make more free content available to everyone for ever, thanks for all you do!
Disappointed that the "3+ years" coin cannot be shipped to the UK. The FAQs says it can be shipped internationally but the ordering process does not allow it. In error, I hope?
Yes this is an error! Sorry about that. We're hoping it will be resolved soon. Thanks for your patience!
