Hello, thanks for the question! My children are part time home schooled and part time brick and mortar schooled at a wonderful charter school. It's just the perfect combination for many quirky nerdy kids. We have used a lot of crash course for our home school curriculum and it's been amazing. I have a background in science and teach microbiology at the charter school. I teach this class to a combination group of advanced 5-8th graders. It's a 2 block class and my students love finishing the class with a Journey to the Microcosmos video and they love, love, seeing their names in the Patreon. I know journey to the Microcosmos is coming to an end. It's an incredible resource for our little lab based microwolds classroom. As a parent in the gifted asynchronous homeschooling community, I can say on behalf of all the parents that crash course is a primary resource and we are all very grateful for that resource. Many of us are cobbling together the best path for our asynchronous learners. My kids happen to have needed college level history and literature, early, while being at about grade level for math. Many kids need to be able to accelerate at math but are about grade level for reading, etc. so they take the crash course at home that accommodates their level; and keep a record of what they have done and report that on their state homeschool learning plan. Then they take in person classes like art, drama and lab science at the brick and mortar school. It's truly amazing and crash course is a huge part of our schooling community. Thanks for all the amazing resources. Kim (aka) 5th-8th Microwolds Parade
