TLDR: I've been under the weather for the earlier parts of the week. Been focusing on designing new areas and animating. Storyboarding is almost entirely done, writing has stalled while I design those new segments.

Hello Everyone,

I apologize for the weekly update coming a bit later than normal. I was sick at the start of the week and I just couldn't get any sleep.

Writing has stalled a bit, but in the meantime. I'm designing more sections of the map. I'm hoping to add another date area, and a southern part of the city that will add some new areas too.

The new maps are almost entirely done. One thing I've been trying to take into account is that the maps are a bit too large for how slow the player moves. I'll be designing the maps a bit smaller to compensate and I'll see if I can increase the player's base movement speed to make up for it. Surprisingly there isn't an out of the box option for setting the default move speed.

I've also been considering what kinds of buildings to add and in what ways I can expand what the player can do. I might continue to keep things relatively simple for now. I'm also going to try and animate more for the next update so I can improve in that regard too. I'd love to be able to animate every scene completely on my own at some point. A lot of existing scenes I use, don't always capture the feel/posing that I want. So normally I'll spend several hours changing existing scenes to get the lighting and poses to better fit the writing.

I always do the writing first and then the animation follows.

很抱歉这次更新比平时晚了一些。周初感冒了，晚上一直睡不好。

写作进度有些停滞，不过我也趁这段时间在设计更多地图区域。计划加入新的约会场景，还有城市南部的新区域。

新地图现在基本都已经完成。其实之前的地图有点太大了，配上角色本身移动速度较慢，体验并不是很好。所以我现在准备把新地图设计得小一些，也会看看能不能提升角色的基础移动速度。比较意外的是，默认好像没有直接设置移动速度的选项。

最近也在考虑要增加哪些新建筑，以及有哪些方式可以丰富玩家的可玩内容。现阶段应该还是会以简单为主。下个版本会尝试做更多动画，争取在这方面也能有提升。我很想有一天所有场景的动画都能独立完成。其实现有的一些动画，往往很难表达出我想要的感觉和动作，所以每次都会花几个小时调整光影和姿势，让画面更贴合剧情。

我一贯是先写剧本，然后再做动画。
