09/22/2025 Update

Just a small update.

A pretty wild bug slipped into the release. For some reason the game tried to load an old CG from a beta build, even though the logic for that scene was completely removed.

In that old build, the scene only triggered when accessing the computer and viewing a 2chan thread. That logic doesn’t exist anymore, so I’m not sure why the game would call that image when simply opening the menu.

The bug was fixed by adding in a blank image. Strangely enough, when I tested with a non blank image, the image was never even loaded. Then I tested again without either image, and the bug no longer triggered. I'm going to leave that blank image in the files just in case.

In the previous build, I had an entirely different antagonist. They were the typical NTR character you might see in other fan/doujinshi works (think NTR Legend). I ended up changing him to Umi since he’s tied to the main story and Kazuya’s paranoia.

Do you think Umi is too soft? I’m considering sharpening him by adding scenes from his perspective. Since Umi doesn't have much depth in the original source. I'll try adding some things to his personality to make him stick out a bit more. I don't want him to be too comically evil though, I'll try to focus more on manipulative aspects.

Fixes:

  • Image bug resolved when opening the menu on the 2nd day.

  • I've resolved an issue with the CN MTL.

  • Remove debug characters.

Whats Next:

  • Adding a change to the start that allows you to skip the entire prologue segment when selecting "New Game"

  • Aiming at having 4 more days of in-game events in the next update.

    • Main events are all mostly written and being proof-read.

    • H-Scenes are in the middle of being written.

      • Going to spend some more time on these to try and include more animation variants/camera angles.

      • Going to also try and lengthen them.

    • Date events need to be written.

      • Since you can choose who to spend time with, I'll probably need to spend extra time on this to make sure they all slot in nicely.

      • These will also have their own H-Scenes written. Not all dates will have H-Scenes.

      • New dates will only trigger if you have the appropriate Affection with the heroine.

Going to try and use more scenes from other KK creators. I feel like mine aren't up to snuff yet and animating a climax is pretty hard in KK. I'll still animate when needed as a lot of things I want to have shown haven't been animated by anyone else.

Other characters from other popular series might show up. They should fit in smoothly since their interests overlap with the plot (Hint: Cosplay/Acting).
