Hey, how about some interesting facts?

The name of Advent, "Rizdvo", is the Ukrainian translation of the word "Christmas". For Ukrainians, this is a special holiday, but for me personally, Christmas is associated with Christmas Eve, when we visited relatives and friends with kutia (our traditional dish made with cereals, honey and nuts).

And, of course, "Shchedryk", the original version of "Carol of the Bells", which was written back in 1916 (the English version appeared exactly 20 years later, in 1936, when Ukrainian immigrants arrived in America). Just listen to how it sounds in Ukrainian.
