Re: being trans in the UK Im in Wales, which last month had all surgical referals for trans patients blocked for the indefinite future. On the suspicion that the Welsh Gender Service wasnt doing referals right. Because there were too many compared to their English counterparts. We've been informed by Plaid Cymru Senedd members that the review has been told to go quickly. We havent been given a timeframe, nor have my friends who are in scope of review (read, had their pending surgeries cancelled forever suddenly) been contacted about it existing at all.
