Surrogacy
An increasingly popular childbirth option for couples who cannot easily naturally conceive is to utilize a surrogate who gestates and births the pregnancy on behalf of the intended parents. And as of late, surrogacy is also being used by some especially wealthy people, particularly in the tech industry, as a way for them to avoid pregnancy altogether. This week, June and Josh look at the history of surrogacy, the moral disagreements among the religious right about the practice, and some of the ethical and legal complications that can result.

I love having my best baby and getting to eat it too
I hate that we live in a time where you can listen to a podcast from last month on any given day, where someone talks about the terrible current state of affairs, and you just shake your head and think: you spoiled child of summer! If you only KNEW just how much worse everything is going to get.
Orchid returns, alongside Nucleus! I wrote in about them in my (unedited and tipsy) mess of a mailbag email last week! Great to see our beloved Thiel byproducts thriving and flourishing. MacColl's article was super enlightening, and I'm not surprised to learn how indefinite and unhelpful both companies' services actually are for their supposed purposes. Tens of thousands of dollars for sci-fi baby astrology. Great episode!

I loved when June said “Sperm Racing” like 4 times in a row.
