👶 Production Update: Mike Made a Human
My wife Mika and I welcomed our son, Leo, into the world this week! July 22nd. It has been equal parts magical, overwhelming, beautiful, terrifying, sleep-deprived, and I’m covered in at least three different bodily fluids at any given moment.
I can’t stop staring at this little man! He’s hypsnotized us. An eternal limbo dance. Days blurring together into a cycle of feeding, burping, diaper changes, worrying that he’s eaten enough, googling things at 3am, I just changed my clothes for the first time in FOUR DAYS!
So if DeGrads episodes show up a little later than usual over the next little while, we hope you’ll forgive us. We’re doing our best to keep the wheels turning while simultaneously learning how to keep a tiny human alive.
The good news is we think this is a perfect excuse to hang out with all of you a little more… in person? We’ll be scheduling some Patreon Lives over the coming weeks so we can chat, answer questions, tell stories, and generally keep the content flowing, even if I have to disappear because someone has decided to sh*t themselves.
