Loved everything about this chapter. His planning was chef's kiss, and the words he dropped on these guys was hardcore. I'm wondering if him using his powers more often means the darkness inside him grows... And yeah, there was no way it would all go that smoothly...

You’re right, bringing up his depleting energy during the fight might have given it more tension, but I honestly wanted the fight to feel controlled. Adam will have much tougher fights in the future. Still, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thank you reading.
