A quick update!

This is a little update as you deserve an explanation for my absence.
Yesterday on Tuesday, I had a sort of surprise procedure. What I mean by that, is that it was scheduled very hastily last week after I saw my doctor for some pretty rough symptoms.
I didn't want to worry you all or seem like I'm making excuses, but I've been dealing with some sort of illness since May. I'm still not sure what it is, my procedure was an exploratory thing, and I won't know any results for about a week. They took biopsies and other samples as well as photos to study.
I have also been in the process of moving, which is taking longer than I had intended because of this mysterious illness. It has been hard to pack, and move my things over to my new place, so I'm sort of going in between places right now.
Now that my procedure is over and I've been given some treatment to help with the symptoms until the issue is found out, I will be moving the rest of my stuff this week, and will be setting up my new booth this weekend! 😁
I sincerely apologize for my absence. If anybody would like a refund for this month, please let me know and I will do so. I am feeling better already with this treatment I've been given, and hopefully I will know what the issue is soon and can fix it!

Hi there Vi! You've been in our thoughts and I think I speak for all of us when I say that we're sorry you've had your share of troubles, but we are still in your corner. I, for one, definitely want you to be able to count on my continuing support. Sadly, I have had things take a few rough turns for me personally, this summer, as well. Although it is by no means the only thing of concern, what probably impacts my participation in this wonderful community of yours is that I lost a major source of income, prety-much my primary source of income, recently. The only reason I bring this up (which I didn't even want to do) was that I was at least CONSIDERING lowering myself down to a different tier here on Pateron, in an effort to maybe budget more carefully over the next couple of months, and then "up my pledge" again, back to my current tier, before the end of 2026. The only reason I bring up ANY of this is that I really did NOT want to have to do any of that because - well - you're awesome and I want to continue to support the work you do. So, because you were kind enough to maybe offer a refund for the month (which I would normally never ask for) - it struck me as a possible "compromise" that would probably allow me to just remain at the current tier, but still (in my mind) - allow me to recoup a bit as I continue to look for ways to cut back on costs elsewhere. That is my long winded way of saying "yes" to your offer to refund for the month, IF you are still willing . . . and then, unless anything more drastic happens, I could and would just stay at the tier I am at. If this all makes sense, I appreciate it - and thank you for continuing to keep us fanboys and fangirls in the loop. We care for you in all the (non-parasocial) ways that we can, and want good things for you as you take these next steps forward in your own life and - hopefully - pave your way to better health and wellbeing as the autumn unfolds and the rest of the year continues. Please don't apologize for things beyond your control, life happens to everyone. As your audience it's our job to hold you up when you find it hard to stand on your own. I hope you get answers soon for your medical issues that lead to a positive outcome friendo.
