Frequently Asked Questions
Ello! If you're not familiar, I'm Emerald.
This post is to gather my answers to frequently asked questions.
Q: What's with this Patreon tier thing? Do I have to PAY you to get mods?
A: Nope, not at all. You can subscribe as a free member to get access to all of my posts here. The paid tiers are an option if someone wants to show monetary support for my work, but they're not at all required, and subscribing to them doesn't provide any benefits. (Unless you count my thanks as a benefit!)
Q: I like your work. Do you take mod commissions? CAN I pay you to get mods??
A: Sorry, I don't take commissions! Taking payment in exchange for mods can be legally dubious, but more importantly, I don't want modding to become a job for me. I already have one of those. ;) Keeping it free means I can work on what I feel like working on, which keeps it fun.
Q: Well, how about requests? Do you take those?
A: Sort of! I'd say that I take suggestions for mod ideas. But, as mentioned earlier, this is a hobby and I want to keep it fun, so if I'm not interested in an idea, then I probably won't go for it.
Still, here's a few guidelines from me in case you're pondering a mod suggestion:
Respecting permissions is very important to me. Creating is hard work, and I would never want to use someone else's hard work without their permission. So, if your request involves using or editing someone else's work, permission is required. If the author doesn't have open permissions posted publicly, then I will need to talk to them myself to verify it's okay.
Due to legal concerns, I won't use assets that have been ripped from other games.
If something is overtly sexual or reads as fetish-y to me, I won't be touching it with a ten foot pole. Not my department.
I usually prefer to mod things for women/fem characters, so you'll be more likely to get a "yes" if you suggest those.
TL;DR: No stealing. No porting. No sex. I like women.
More answers TBA as needed. :)
