Corvicanus

Happy spooky season! I bring you Corvicanus from BDO for all tall masc bodytypes! With added custom spell VFX!

Corvicanus is a raven themed armor set of metal and bone--robe, hooded helm, gloves, boots, and feather cloak--that also comes with six matching weapons: Staff, scimitar, two different daggers, spear, and longbow.

I've also created some shadow corvid themed spell vfx for the following spells (available when wearing certain pieces of the set or by reading an included book):
Spectral Form: Shadow Raven (on the cloak)
On Black Wings (on the hood)
Aura of Murder (on the robe)
Bad Omen (skill only available in Shadow Raven form)
Rend Vision (skill only available in Shadow Raven form)

Important Notes:

- Armor Visuals have two full sets of meshes sculpted to fit:
bt2 Human/Half-Elf/Elf/Drow (slim masc "normies")
bt4 Human/Half-Elf/Elf/Drow (strong masc "normies)
Tiefling, Githyanki, Half-Orc, and Dragonborn (the rest of the tall masc bodies) reuse either the bt2 or bt4 set of visuals. Those visuals should work for them, besides some minor neck clipping on DGB and Horc if a hood is not worn over the robe.
(Dragonborn do not have the custom hood visual and use a vanilla one.)

- Weapons and Custom Spell VFX can be used by all.

- Textures are nonVT.

- The new spell VFX can be unlocked by wearing the armor.
OR
There is a book to learn them and a potion to forget them also in the Corvicanus container.

- Some of the stats scale with your character's level: the weapon enchantment bonus, ability bonuses, skill bonuses, and AC buffs.
These will increase in power generally at level five, then again at level nine. You may need to unequip them, then reequip them, at the stated levels for your stats to get updated correctly.
(If my stat choices are not to your tastes, I highly recommend Armory or Transmog to use the visuals on whatever armor you want.)

- If just the robe is worn by itself, there will be an invisible body gap between the end of the sleeves and the forearm, and the end of the pant legs and the shins. This is due to the nature of ports: Different games cut off where they hide the body parts at different places on the arm and leg for the glove and boot slots. It should be compatible to mix and match with other gloves and boots from BDO for the same bodytype or any other modded gloves and boots that cover that high up on the limbs.

- Armor and weapons have both a non-dyeable version and a dyeable version that are named accordingly. (Bleaching textures to be able to dye them can cause some detail loss. The non-dyeable version is included as an option that preserves full detail of the original texture, but it has to be its original colors.)
(I highly recommend EasyDye to dye each armor color parameter exactly the color you want without having to search for a dye that lines up just right. Sadly, EasyDye does not support weapons, so those will need regular dyes.)

- Besides the non-dyeable staff and the dyeable staff, there is a third version of the staff that is dyeable without the vfx flame. (vfx can't be dyed, so I included a staff without the vfx in case you wanted to make the staff purple or orange, and the green flame would clash.)

- Due to how fluffy the feather cloak is, it may block the over the shoulder dialogue camera for bt4 some. I've included a version of the cloak that is lower to combat this. The lower version is labelled "Vanilla Compatible" because it also lines up better with vanilla armors.

- The Corvicanus container uses an egg icon and can be found in the tutorial chest or as a one time reward in the camp chest. (Use a tutorial chest summoning mod like Tutorial Chest Summoning to obtain more copies post-Nautiloid.)

- Made with the official toolkit, so requires Patch 7/8.

Special thanks to:

beaned_sprout for encouraging me to try porting from BDO and directing me towards resources to do so, and for teaching me about clothparams many months back.

Maelle for their infinite patience and kindness in walking me through the process of editing textures from other games to be compatible with bg3.

Poesielibre for helping me with importing weapon meshes oriented correctly into the game and for helping me troubleshoot getting the bowstring to animate.

Astralites for taking the time to explain where the bodysetvisual is in the lsf files to add custom creature body meshes when the toolkit refused to cooperate.

copperleaves for permission to study how they make stats scale with level.

XipheasRex for answering so so many questions about the toolkit, stats, and animations.

And everyone else in the BG3 Modding CMTY, who encourage and support modders new and old everyday!

Recommended general fixes for modded outfits:
- Lynia's Dither Shader Fix, can reduce some unintended white outlines on dyeable clothes.
- badwitch69's Non-VT Shader Fix (Correct blood and dirt display) to slow the bloodying and dirtying of nonVT outfits.

- Also related: For more spooky season corvid wear, check out Lynia's completely custom made Raven Witch outfit for bt1!
- Obscen1ty has done many gorgeous ports from BDO already (mostly bt1, some bt2).
- Both badwitch69 and PsuedoKociara are incredible modders that both make and port so much fashion for bt2. (Some of badwitch's fit bt4!)
